PO-PO, resigned cop wants Supreme Court to re-instate [NL]

A former Northlake cop, Ken Bruce, filed a lawsuit that has been dismissed and the ruling upheld on appeal. Bruce resigned from the Northlake PD, but his retirement fund didn't transfer to St. Charles, so now he wants back on the force in Northlake.
Bruce is alleging Northlake coerced his resignation because of his union (FOP) activity.
Any Proviso Probe readers know what the story is with Bruce?
