  • Whats this a Melrose Park LT. with a lot of time on the job is being sued by fellow Mexican police Officers for using Racial remarks toward them. Boy times are changing. Hey Carl why not look into this!--jfs

  • I am trying to figure out why Mayor Calderone would insult the residents of Forest Park by emailing the insider blog to compliment the website. Furthermore, if the mayor sent an email, wouldn't you post it as evidence? This is nothing more than a twisted opportunity by Chris Welch to gain favor in his attempt to save the board majority in the upcoming school board election, April 2007.

    News Flash...IT WON'T WORK!! WE'RE GOING TO EXPOSE YOU TO THE TAX PAYERS AND THE FEDS!!

    Can someone please tell this desperate and transparent fool that his demise has already been determined!!

    Also, the feable comment made on the Insider regarding Dr. Murphy and Robert Libka did not hurt or help District 209 last year, clearly let's you know that the 9 million dollar deficit is being covered up by Chris Welch.

    I was at the SD88 meeting when they hired roach back. The board member that has problems speaking with a speech problem tried to bring that up but the board voted it down. Roach "welch" will just be finishing up some loose ends on one case for the board and thats it.Welch is done with SD88. He cant be trusted due to his political mix with theese schools and villages.The district will do just great with the new supt.She is on top of all the bullshit that has been holding the dist back for years.

  • The cesspool call "county government" just did the nepotism thing again. Steeles son got her former commissioner's seat. I guess if he has kids, one of them will get his job in the forest preserves.

    Beavers is sure to usher in his do-nothing daughter on the city council. I don't care if she is his so--called chief of staff-- she sure didn't get the job based on anything other than DNA.

    The whole system sucks and politics needs to be flushed.

  • I heard Stone Park's lying Mayor Mazzullo,who promised to ride Stone Park of Adult bookstores(two are still there) and of that gang infested nightclub and drug market(Noa Noa),that Mazzullo gets kick backs for each customer who goes to the clubs and bookstores.
    I heard he charges 40% of the entrance fee for the disco on Lake and 15% for the bookstore!
    Mazzullo also goes around talking like he is in the mob, and threatens other mayors(Melrose Park,Bellwood,Maywood) and wants to be township supervisor.What a joke, this piece of shit mazzullo is,walking around with all his girlfriends behind his wife's back and at the same time ratting out his friends in the melrose park police to the feds!

  • There's an article in the current issue of The Forest Park Review about Rev. Emanuel Little of the Salem Tabernacle Church. Seems his sweetheart arrangement with Dist 209 has been terminated. Of course the good minister is claiming that his service was authentic, but ask any teacher or student that's been involved with his program and they'll tell you how the whole thing was a sham.

    Kudos to Stan Fields for doing what few others had the kahunas to do.

Because he sat back like most of the Reverends and preachers and pastors and did NOTHING while Welch and others looted our villages and school districts. Rev.     Tell the readers to attend the board meetings like we all do so they can get the facts str8...sd88 did not hire welch back as the board lawyer. He left some business unfinished before he was canned and the board is holding his feet to the fire to finish it..i was there. it also was a total embarasment to sit in a meeting to hear the most ridiculous thing on earth when Tom miller was pluged in by phone at a basketball game. it was so unprofessional to sit in the audience and listen to him try to coach a basketball game while pluged in via telephone to the board meeting. this was so out of line and then he tries to get the board to hire welch back when it was new business called by ms. thurman, but it failed. give it up "uncle Tom Miller"......learn how to talk first then become a board member.. you really showed the parents a lot about how you conduct business with our tax dollars when you were on the phone with people cheering and clapping when we were trying to listen to the real board members take care of business.

    NO MOORE MILLER IN 2007.....you even embarased your girlfriend anderson when you did that. you should have seen him shakin his head in dismay..even though you all talk alike i think he is the wiser as i view the circus each month.
