Proviso Probe

Thursday, November 30, 2006

ADMIN, I haven't posted in ten days

I apologize for not writing more lately.

This morning a Proviso Probe reader relayed to me a couple of the speculations about why I have been posting less. While the speculation was interesting none of it was true.

I have been taking a time out. The false and malicious claims made by Proviso Insider did get under my skin somewhat. I had a good time over Thanksgiving and my stress level came down as I spent less time considering local issues.

And while my stress level came down, the issues didn’t go away.
Proviso Township High Schools are still 90th of 90 in academic performance. Melrose Park is still run with strong arm tactics. The Forest Park Police Department still thinks Taser “stun guns” are the neatest thing since the cat-o-nine-tails. Presumably Broadview is still a financial wreck. And there are plenty of people who are going to be convicted for corruption—based on known information—who are determining how money collected from taxpayers is to be spent.

So, I guess it’s time to start blogging again.

By the way, I am beginning to create a plan for a Cook County blog. There will be a niche for covering Cook County government and issues in the next couple years.

I hope everyone enjoyed Thanksgiving and the warm whether, including our neighbors being investigated for corruption. Remember, it’s never too late to repent.

  • Thanks Carl!

I am glad to have you back! Don't let the Insider get to you; the readers know the truth. If Welch is low enough to lie about his parents dying in a car crash then he is low enough to make up vicious lies about the people in Proviso Township that do not support his self serving political agenda.

I want Flowers, Kelly, Bryant, Jackson, Dr. Mack, Wicks, the Yarbroughs, Doris, Patterson, Coleman, Relf ,Supt Rivers, Gary Woll, Jason Ervin, the Maywood police chief, and the many others who have stood up and spoke out against Welch and his Taliban to keep up the good fight and stay focused. It has been a long day coming, but a change is going to come. And once we put Welch in a hole we can get to the business of educating children.

Throughout the six years with Welch as board president and a political misfit, the children of this community have suffered! We have to strong arm Welch and take back the schools! Lets work for the children in this community.

Welch will always be a lying sissy punk, (that will never change)but we can't let him get the best of us because that would make him victorious.

  • My source at Proviso tells me that a couple of new jobs were posted today. It seems that if you know how to do laundry you can make up to 51K and if you want to be a day custodian you can make almost 48k. I am sure it will suprise no one that these high paying maintenance/custodial jobs will be under the friends and family plan of board members and the like. I think its about time that the citizens of Proviso Township stand up and say enough is enough. Where else in any public school can a laundress or launderer (not sure of the term) can make more than a teacher with a masters degree. I know I do laundry a couple of times a week and have done so for more than 30 years. Do you think I have a chance of getting the job. I doubt it. And why does Proviso have so much laundry? Are they washing and drying clothes for the students, staff and faculty?
The mismanagement of monies is way out of line. Please anyone who cares about Proviso, please investigate. What next, 61k for the cafeteria lady.

  • Millie Jackson vs. Little Richard says:

Carl it is posted at the schools. Welch would never include that on the school's website. Contact Murphy in Human Resource she would be able to give you that information if Welch has not tapped her mouth shut. She is trying to stay afloat by any means necessary. Can't hate the player just got to hate the game, but Welch and Murphy will both go down after their big splurge of patronage hirings. There is more to come before April. That is why Murphy was appointed manager of HR. The laundry job was posted on November 29 and ended the same day. How can a job be posted for only one day? Sounds really fishy!

Murphy has become another dishonest hack for Welch, but is anyone surprised!
A Bellwood trustee being pimped by Pasquele and now by Welch. Baxter needs to keep his hoes in line. I am certain Muprhy does not want to see Baxter resurface.... don't count him out. Like Candy Man he will be back! Watch out Murphy, Welch and Baxter has plans for you.

  • What has happened to the Westchester blog site? Seems that the writers of the blog, Fox and his wife and Casey have gotton cold feet? Neither of them have blogged for over one month now. What happened, Luciano's,Paulie and Sloan scared them off? I knew that Fox and Caset were blow hards, but his Pef? She's also a blow hart that's why she married Henpeck Fox!
I can't wait to see them run in town, they'll be spanked to the gutter they came from!

  • Don't let it get to you Carl. You are doing a good thing here and Proviso needs you.

Forest Park has major issues, faith and prayers; it will all work out.
