N06, Serpico & Pasquale palm cards [MP, BW]
Ron Serpico's palm card endorsed the Dem ticket for Illinois' constitutional officers. Serpico's allies got Christine Radogno to back Michael LaPidus over Peraica for Republican Committeeman of Lyons Township. But Serpico backed Alexi Giannoulias over Radogno for state treasurer.
Serpico backed Rahm Emanuel for Congress and Don Harmon, but not Deborah Graham for the state legislature.
Serpico backed the full Dem ticket for county government, including Gomolinski.
The one Republican Serpico supported was Robert Ingraffia for Regional Superintendent of Schools.
Serpico also made a point of backing the following judges: Joseph J. Urso, Thomas R. Chiola, Thomas Paul Panichi, Lawrence "Larry" Terrell, Paul A. Karkula, Anthony A. Iosco and Thomas David Roti.
Frank Pasquale's palm card was a little different.
He endorsed Blagojevich and Jesse White, but not Lisa Madigan or Dan Hynes. Pasquale preferred Radogno, the Republican, over Giannoulias.
Pasquale supported re-election of both Lightford and Yarbrough.
He listed Stroger and Dart, but skipped the other countywide races, probably because they were functionally uncontested. Pasquale did endorse Earlean Collins.
Pasquale only listed two judges: Joseph Urso and Lawrence "Larry" Terrell.
Pasquale didn't make an endorsement in the Regional Superintendent of Schools race.

How Kind of Pasquale to not endorse anyone for regional superintendent. What a crock of shit for that little cocoroach to not endorse Flowers!I thought he was a democrat? I thought he was mayor of Bellwood, which is 90%black and loves Flowers like a favorite son? But,Pasquale runs his humane plantation with his acknowlegment that only he knows whats best for "his negros", and he did Flowers a favor by not endorsing anyone.Pasquale truely has to go, and all his board members need to resign or need to publically call him out for his obnoxious and condesending behavior towards bellwood residents. Also if I hear any "so-called black/community leader"defend Pasquale either on the radio or in print or on the streets,we blacks will know that those messangers are our community's JUDASES!
In regards to Serpico all I can say, what did you expect? The guys not a rocket scientist. The guy is just a plain old intellectually challenged, overweight bully who double crosses everyone he has worked with,if you don't believe me ask Scavo and Bruno.I heard that come april 2007,he'll be in the minority, with a oppostional board to work with.

Frank didn't endorse Congressman Danny Davis either. I am very disappointed. Davis has been a good congressman for this district.
Lisa Madigan? --she even beat out the popular Jesse White! Wonder why Frank didn't endorse her?

Ok residents of Bellwood. Now do you get what D. I. was tryin to tell you. It may not be that we need a black Mayor, but it dam sure in the hell aint Pasquale who we need.85% black town and we still give our vote to Pasquale. do we not have enough qualified african americans to beat him? sure we do. so why not step up to the plate and do it. The time is right. Congrats to Murphy for steppin up and leaving the Bellwood First Party. when Gene moore was the committeeman Pasquale supported the whole Democratic ticket. why not support it now that yarbrough has the helm? Shame on you Mayor Pasquale...You have forgotten where you come from. Dont bite the hand that feeds you Frank. you have tossed aside the good for the bad and it will surely bite you in the ass in april. Make amends before it is too late my friend.and to make matters worse, you insult congressman DKD.Pray Frank, PRAY.

Frankie Pasquale, you should have known how to stay with the good and leave the bad. This is a friendly warning, get away from Chris Welch and Ronnie "fatso" Serpico! You still have time, but if you wait to long they'll be no coming back!

A lot of tough talk here. Voters had their chance twice to keep Pasquale out. He'll keep getting elected by the bellwood black sheep til he's convicted. In the meantime, black folks keep destroying their own and leaving the corpse at Pasquale's altar for approval from the white man. He just laughs at the black folks for being so stupid while he and his white cronies plunder the Village and lynch uppity negroes at will. Wonder why he didn't endorse Lisa Madigan? Could be they're closing in on the corrupt Pasquale regime - and he knows it. Wait for the other shoes to drop, Bellwood.

HEY CANDID, YOU MAKE A LOT OF SENCE. WHY DO THE 85% OF THE AFRICAN AMERICANS IN BELLWOOD KEEP PUTTING HIM IN OFFICE? WHY CANT WE SUPPORT A STRONG BLACK KNOWLEDGEABLE AND ETHICAL PERSON FOR MAYOR? CAN IT BE GREG MOORE.? CAN IT BE DAVE IRELAND? CAN IT BE CHIEF HARVEY OR MAYBE HIS DAD? WHAT ABOUT MR. HIGHTOWER? LETS GO BELLWOOD WE HAVE OPTIONS HERE. LETS HOLD A FORUM AND SELECT OUR CANDIDATE. NO MORE RUBBER STAMPED PARTY MAYORS.
VOTE NOW BELLWOOD. WHO DO WE WANT?
THIS IS A START. FIVE STRONG AFRICAN AMERICAN MAYORAL POSSIBILITIES.
1.DAVID IRELAND
2.GREG MOORE
3.ANDRE HARVEY
4.CALVIN HIGHTOWER
5.PHYLISTINE MURPHY (PHD)

My vote goes to Arnie Bryant, who has experience in Township goverment, as well as a board president for the Bellwood libraries and also as President of the NAACP. None of the others has his qualifications, but should all unite under Bryant and form a colation ticket, with at least one hispanic or white.Let's get Pasquale out of here, along with his boys Bruno,Sei and herrell, and Castaldo ,Welch.
Also all blacks should stop going to Pasaquale's events and fundraisers.

Here's a harsh truth, but someone has got to say it.
First of all, let me tell you I'm a black Cuban-American. My grandparents were Batista sympathizers and they fled with their children. My father finished high school here in the States. He then went on to serve in the Army as there was a draft. When he was done with serving the country he became an electrical engineer. To this day he has yet to call himself an African-American. According to him and the rest of us, we're all Cuban-Americans.
We have a very large family of black Cubans and through the years they've married white Cubans, black Cubans, black americans,Italian americans,Irish americans, and even some black Jamaicans, as some of the family fled to Jamaica.
Now that you know where I'm coming from, let me tell that Anonymous and any others something that nobody has brought up.
There are very little or no black folks that are immigrants in this country that would ever call themselves African-Americans. They're Cuban, Jamaican, Haitians, Dominicans, Bahamians, or Puertoricans. The truth is that anyone from South Africa whose white can call themselves an African-American too. So looking for a politically correct label other than calling a spade a spade has turned out looking stupid.
The reason for that is while the blacks in the U.S. have decided to keep the chip on their shoulders and play the race card at every turn, blacks everywhere else have used the cards they've been dealt to make themselves a better future and haven't griped about racism at every opportunity.
That being said I know that there are plenty of black Americans that are successful. I don't understand why the black American continues to let extremist groups speak for them. Those groups are the true racists. They are the ones who continue to try to make rifts and canyons between the races
The Cubans came only 47 years ago, without a penny to their names, without welfare and without the language and look what they have accomplished. They didn't form a coalition to force people to accept them. They made lemonade out of lemons. They mopped floors and waited on tables, all the while instilling pride and hard work in their children. Teaching them that the only way to get ahead was to get an education and work hard. Who cares what people thought about the loud and rowdy Cubans. Let them point and let them move away, we're different, so what. Now look at all of those who laughed and moved away from Miami. They're moving back like nuts trying to get a piece of the pie the Cubans baked in South Florida.
Blacks from other countries don't want to be called "The Successful Black Man" They want be known as the "Successful Man", period. They don't want special treatment. They know that if you've got it, people are going to want it, regardless of your skin color or ethnicity.
I take offense with anyone who tries to treat me with kid gloves because I'm black. I don't want people around me walking on eggshells because they may insult me and start a riot.
Groups that pretend they're there to help the black man have other agendas, and helping is not one of them. Stop being so blind. Stop seeing everything as a black vs. white issue, it is not. The world does not revolve around us. Life is not about "black", "white", "red" or "yellow" skin. It is about proving you're a good human worthy of respect. Respect comes automatically, if you deserve it...
I think Pasquale has done a great job.I also think Welch and Flowers have done a great job, as well as Serpico and Yarbrough,Tony Perica and Arnie Bryant. Now stop hating and inspire us.

Inside report states that earlier this morning at Lou Mitchell's breakfast place downtown at 9:00am the powers that be from City Hall and County Goverment and from the Illinios Republican Party had a sit down meeting where Karen Yarbrough,Tony Peraica,Charles Flowers,Chris Welch and Ron Serpico, along with Gene Moore attended.
The meeting was to bury the hatchet between these two strong poltical rivals and to make sure every group and inidividual gets there piece and that a true peace and prosperity set up would be achieved.
What could'nt a month a go ever be imagined actually happened thanks to John Daley,Obama, and Madigan, as well as McKenna and ex-gov, Thompson, Serpico saying he was sorry and apoligizing to Peraica, and tony accepting it, as well as Karen,Chris and Gene hugging and putting there past differences aside.Karen,Tony and Charles will support Chris for 209,Chris,Gene and Ron will support Tony for commissioner,Karen as state rep. and committeewomen,Gene will be endorsed by Karen for recorder, and Ron will be supported for re-election in Melrose by Tony,Karen,Charles,Gene and Chris.
Proviso finally has peace and good will and once again will take its postion as the strongest township in the state!

The scene is legendary: It's 1945, and there is Hitler, ensconced in his bunker and standing in front of a huge map of the battlefront, barking orders for non-existent armies to redeploy to confront the enemy on the Eastern front. He was totally out of touch with reality—and even top military figures who had kowtowed to his calamitous orders before, shook their heads and refused to pass the orders on. The end was only weeks away.
Fast-forward to today, and you see the Serpico,Pasquale,Bruno,Moore and Welch cabal virtually reading from the same script. "Full-speed ahead," raves the deluded Chris Welch on his Insider blog, just as he sounded on his radio show. These stupid, corrupt men can't see for themselves that they are enmired in an ever-more-disastrous political situation, which every knows they can't do anything about it,since 88,89,209 and the villages of Bellwood and Melrose Park,as well as Stone Park, just like Broadview did earliear this year, went bankrupt, due to excessive spending hiring incompetent political hacks to vote for them, so they can then go ahead, this cabal of Serpico,Bruno,Pasquale,Moore and Welch to steal all the money for themselves!
This group ,just like Hitler and his close associates, don't see there time will be over come April, and possibly sooner if Patrick Fitzgerald gets them sooner.

Wow, Godwins Law, to a point
Godwin's Law (also Godwin's Rule of Nazi Analogies) is a mainstay of Internet culture, an adage formulated by Mike Godwin in 1990. The law states:
As an online discussion grows longer, the probability of a comparison involving Nazis or Hitler approaches one.[1]
Godwin's Law does not dispute whether, in a particular instance, a reference or comparison to Hitler or the Nazis might be apt. It is precisely because such a reference or comparison may sometimes be appropriate, Godwin argues in his book, Cyber Rights: Defending Free Speech in the Digital Age, that overuse of the Hitler/Nazi comparison should be avoided, as it robs the valid comparisons of their impact.
Although in one of its early forms Godwin's Law referred specifically to Usenet newsgroup discussions,[2] the law is now applied to any threaded online discussion: electronic mailing lists, message boards, chat rooms, and more recently blog comment threads and wiki discussion pages.

Pasquale is a cancer! He needs to get the hell out of office. Where are the contracts and Jobs going to. Not us - the black folks. He is still hovering around the park district - acting like a commissioner. What is it about the park district that would make someone hang around over 20 years. The answer - contracts, jobs, kick backs. They are scared that if some body get into office that they can not control, that person will find the corruption. We need someone to run for park commissioner in April 2007. Someone who aint scared of Herrell, Sei, Pascale. Someone who will ride those guys asses. Get rid of the dam phony park police force. memorial park has the only park police force in the State of Illinois. The park police department do not work 24 hours a day. What do they do in the winter, besides, eating donuts and giving tickets to parents picking up there kids from football practice.

Pasquale's mentor is convicted felon Mayor Natale (former Stone Park Mayor). Pasquale's advisor is disbarred attorney Anthony Bruno and his best friend is soon to be indicted Mayor Ron Serpico. Proviso will never improve while corrupt elected officials are allowed to remain in place. If voters continue to accept corruption that is exactly what they will get. Indifference and ignorance are the fuel for corruption.
