Alderman Todd Stroger, candidate for President of the Cook County Board, will meet with the Proviso Democratic Organization at 7:00 PM. You need to RSVP so click the link.
Democracy for America will also hold its monthly meeting at 7:00 PM at the Buzz Cafe in Oak Park, 905 S. Lombard.
Saturday
Governor Rod Blagojevich will hold a campaign rally in Stone Park.
And Oak Park Coalition for Truth and Justice will host a peace fair from noon to 5 PM at Oak Park's Scoville Park. The speakers will include State Representative Karen Yarbrough and State Senator Don Harmon.
