Anthony Bruno indicted
Anthony Bruno has been indicted for tax fraud. See Sun-Times (Frank Main and Carol Marin).
While the charges are relatively minor, Bruno has been paid to work on a number of projects in Proviso, including in Bellwood and Forest Park. The Forest Park Review coverage of the Forest Park work suggested at least some of it was suspicious. When then-Commissioner Theresa Steinback asked about a $3,000 per month payment going to Bruno's company the payment was stopped.

Paul Esparza, formerly a political operator in Proviso Township, claims he was one of the clients deceived by Bruno.

Bruno was disbarred for creating phony court documents purporting to show he had successfully litigated cases for clients when in some cases he had never filed a lawsuit, records show.

It had been brought to my attention to check the Blog, regarding Anthony Bruno's indictment. He must be singingggggggggg like a canary. There must be alot of suburban politians HOLDING THEIR BREATH, for taking money like Gene Moore, Caldrone, Mazzulla, Ron Serpico, Frank Pasquale, and their fishies and we are still paying for that Water Project that no one has addressed that issue or questions who sits on the Water Commission Board in Melrose Park.
Oh......Oh....and what's happen to Teflon Dan Coligainese, who has raped Proviso Township, with NO BID CONTRACTS and made himself a multi millionaire. Just what he stole from Proviso Twp, could retire our National Debt and cheated our kids from getting a important, qualified education. The list can go on and on, and this post will probably be NOT POSTED, but it takes a set of balls to post the truth.
