MEDIA, Yanez gets interviewed on TV [MP]

Dr. Frank Yanez, a former District 209 board member, political activist and gossip--are the last two redundant?--has left Proviso Township to practice medicine in south Florida. Yanez is Cuban-American.

So, what's Yanez doing? It might be an exaggeration to say he's on track to become a minor celebrity, but he did appear on television.

  • It's an exxaggeration to say he's a Dr....shouldnt you get a degree from a US School....and one that is accredited? You must really be a successful Dr to give up a practiceand Move to Florida....NOT.

  • Dr. Yanez is to me the greatest Doctor I have ever known.My Family and I started to see him when he was in residency at Ressurection Hospital and have followed him since. He has taken care of our entire family from childbirth to ederly care.His compassion is similar to another family member.He has treated us when we had insurance and when we had none,not charging us, and even has treated family members who have suffered from severe psychological stress.His leaving us will make it even harder to find a doctor, because its hard finding such an intelligent and compassionate doctor of his quality!!!

  • I know Dr. Yanez and I think it would be extremely wise to bring him back to Proviso and make him in charge of Proviso Mental Health.His expertise and his knowledge would benifit our communities and assist our communities to have proffessional, knowledgable and excellent mental health care.Currently over the past 8 years our mental health dept. in Proviso has been run by corrupt,unqualified individuals,starting with Kathy Ryan's lack of knowledge,Danny Cogliniese's and his mental health board,who by the way have no medical or mental health background, and carried out by mental health directors who also are not qualified to run anything but there own mouths!
    With Mental Health issues predominating in our community,with Drug Addiction increasing,family dysfunctions occuring mre often and lack of affordable mental health services, Proviso township goverment has failed to address the problem because all those officials are political hacks.We need to bring Dr.. Yanez back to our community to reform mental health services and bring quality mental health services to Proviso!!!@
