KLEPT, Hastings logrolls for consultant fees [D209]

Orland Hills Mayor Kyle Hastings has received almost $50,000 in consulting fees from South Suburban College, where village administrator John Daly serves as vice chairman of the board of trustees.
From 2000 to 2003 Hastings earned $1,250 per month to review the college's safety procedures and collected another $2,304 for teaching two classes. In total he received $46,679 from South Suburban College, financial documents reveal. All the while, he held down a full-time job as a "business liaison" with the Illinois secretary of state's office.
Do you get the impression the Daily Southtown reporters and editors think Hastings is crooked? It probably antagonized Daily Southtown people and inspire them to dig more aggressive when the Orland Park attorney, Mark Sterk, accused the Southtown of not being credible.
Kyle Hastings is director of auxiliary programs at Proviso Township High Schools.

Stan, this Sloan who just got hired as a night janitor, what are his "credentials", i.e. familial and/or political connections?
Snazzy websites, community meetings, and lofty vision and mission statements mean squat unless they're backed up by demonstrable action.
If you're serious about curtailing patronage hiring, why don't you start out by acting like you're serious about it? Also, why don't you clear out the current pigs who are freely feeding at the money trough of District 209, and, believe me, there's a vast assemblage of them?
Stan, if you're serious about addressing the deadwood, for example Kyle Hastings, "Dr." Libka, and numerous other do-nothings, in District 209, why don't you show us sooner rather than later?
Or maybe, Stan, you're just full of snazzy website, community meeting, and vision and mission statement bullshit?

Kyle Hastings is a political hack. His arrival to District 209 is the result of Chris Welch promising him a job in exchange for attorney services in Orland Hills, where he serves as Mayor. Just check Hastings arrival to District 209 and Chris Welch's arrival to District 209 Board of Education. They match!! Go to the website to find the law firm that represents Orland Hills. You will find the Oldeson & Sterk(Attorney for District 209) and at one point James Roche & Associates(Chris Welch) are the leeches. Do you require any other information to make the connection between Chris Welch and Kyle Hastings? I am amazed how the Superintendent of District 209(Stan Fields) conveniently gave Kyle Hastings a three year contract. Isn't he the person that screwed up summer school for the students? How do you reward failure in job performance with a multi-year contract? What do you really think Hastings can offer the students of District 209? He is away during work hours more than he is present! He has free reign and will to keep destroying our children at the pleasure of Chris Welch, Eugene Moore and Superintendent Fields.
Wake up District 209 tax payers and registered voters!!
Do you think our children can afford "maggots" like Chris Welch, Eugene Moore, Ron Serpico, Frank Pasquale, Anthony Bruno, and incompetent friends and relatives of these people, that prey on our children as employees of District 209, 89, and 88?

Grady Rivers - have you smoked any crack lately? He is also published in the Maywood Herald making the statement - We are not sure if we are going to replace the Curriculum Director. He also states that he will be glad when District 89 is off the AYP list! What a ton of bricks!! Can someone inform this person that curriculum is the cog that makes the wheel turn in a school district and that AYP is an expectation and responsibility that all schools are bound by, as a result of NCLB!
Guy R. Cervone - what a first name. This a male. He is part of the Melrose Park Police cabol that is under investigation for shaking down businesses in Melrose Park.
Lequita Neeley - spends most of time micro-managing staff and hiring relatives(her own) that do not meet the minimum certification requirements. Her relative(Neeley) had to be removed by the Regional Office of Education because she did not possess the minimum certificate requirements.
Marie Urso - Melrose Park resident that micro-manages the superintendent.
Jamie Aquino- Token Hispanic that does the bidding of Mayor Ron Serpico!!Was appointed by BOE to replace Montoya, who committed suicide.
District 88 - Bellwood
Tommie Miller - Prostituted his board vote as BOE member to hire Chris Welch as attorney for District 88. Chris Welch proceeded to bill the district excessively, until new superintendent came on board and board terminated his services. In exchange, Tommie Miller was given the head basketball coaching job at Proviso West High School.

That's an expectation that goes without saying! Now please share with the public how will you be a good steward for students in District 88!
- Token Hispanic candidate by way of Mayor Mazzullo os Stone Park. Will be utilized to continue the employment of Joseph Burdi(Trustee of Stone Park) and other political hacks that are looking for jobs in District 88.
District 209:
Terrase Craig - baby moma to Stacey Welch - Chris Welch's brother. Also is one of many family & friends that was hired by Chris Welch.
Robin Foreman - Aunt of Nakita Johnson. She is running to protect her niece's continued employment in District 209, as the business manager.
Carla D. Johnson- baby momma to Eric Moore - Eugene Moore's son. Need I say more!!
Robert Cox - according to Burt Oldeson(Attorney for District 209), is one several candidates that Chris Welch has thrown into the election, to keep the majority vote on the board.
James Boyd - former board member that has been forced to run for political reasons to keep the board majority.

Isn't it ironic and sad that at the same recent board meeting that Stan unveiled his "Proviso Rising" campaign with a commitment to do away with patronage hiring, Sloan gets approved as the night janitor at PMSA?
