GOV, the Stroger 17% cut
Cook County Board President Todd Stroger wants to cut the budget of all Cook County departments by 17%.
Here's a challenge for Stroger. Give Stroger a list of county employees making over $70,000 who live in the Eighth Ward. Have Stroger give pink slips to 17% of these people.
When Stroger cuts his own then we'll know he's serious about "tightening the belt".

The only reason Tod Stroger got in office was because of his Dad's name. Just another clown with a different pair of shoes. Let's see if he cuts his political friends salary first and then maybe we can believe he is truly the honest person for the job.

there is so much fat in the County it is rediculous. why does he start with the little people first and still keep his pals in the 100k plus jobs. Did anyone see the paper yesterday where he gave Representative Colvert `s wife a job for over 126k. Get real people, I think we all were fed a bunch of bullshit from Todd Stroger. Does anyone have a list of jobs and names that he can cut? Lets stop beating up on our local people and expose some of the real waste and garbage that concerns our tax dollars.
