I have not been able to confirm Proviso Insider's reporting, but s/he goes on to make allegations that have been denied.
Proviso Insider alleges this teacher is related to District 88 board member John Wicks and Rep. Karen Yarbrough. Yarbrough denies being related to any District 88 teachers. And Wicks denies being related to the teacher involved in this story.
Once again Proviso Insider is taking a little real information and mixing with falsehoods to turn unfortunate news into a political hit.

The Insider has learned that Bellwood School District 88 was raided a short time ago by state and federal authorities. According to Insider sources, authorities are searching Wilson Elementary School for a music teacher who is involved in some type of child pornography.

I heard that Chris Welch has taken up his thieving practice in High School District 218(Eisenhower,Richards,Shepard)with Odelson & Sterk as the primary attorney. Odelson & Sterk are obviously throwing Welch a bone to keep him from firing them in District 209. Don't you think it would be fitting to let District 218 know that they are getting a liar and thief that runs billing hours up. He doesn't have a clue about school law!!

Carl, request or go on-line to get the minutes from the October 2006 District 218 Board of Education meeting. While you may not see Chris Welch's name, he is used as a consultant to Odelson & Sterk. To verify this information, request a Freedom Of Information Act(FOIA). Ask District 218 for the names of all attorneys and billing since October 2006. Administrator's in District 218 are already questioning his knowledge in school law and outstanding billing hours. He is working as a hearing officer and charging the district up the ass!! School districts in Illinois should be aware of this predator!! You may access District 218 @www.chsd218.org. True to his weasel and slime mantality, Chris Welch has once again prostituted himself at the expense of students and taxpayers. If you read the October minutes for District 218, why would the District want to go from the frying pan to the fire! What track proven record in school law does Chris Welch possess. This is why Chris Welch begged District 88 school board to allow him to resign rather than to terminate him. There is a bigger present awaiting Chris Welch and others that have participated in robbing our schools!!

Go to the district website and pull up the boe minutes. The minutes should reflect the date of the boe meeting. Chris probably will not be at the boe meeting because Odleson & Sterk are the primary attorney's. Chris is brought in under the radar to work student hearings. What a joke and waste of taxpayers money!

Hey tommie miller, did you see the Secretary of State investigative series on false handicap parkers!! sound familiar? This means tell your wife to stop parking in the handicap zone at D-Ramp. It also means for your slow talkin ass to stop parking in the handicap zone at the fieldhouse entrence. In case you did not know, speech impediments are not recourse to use your eldrly moms handicap placard to get a park close to the door. Does the SD209 administraters know about this? why does Ms. wallace allow this. Parents who have legitimate handicaps cant find parks because the Miller family has them all sewed up.
