There's an article in today's Tribune in the Metro West section on page 3 about a "Part-time (Maywood) Cop Charged with Stealing Credit Card". The identified officer is Antoine Mitchell who admitted to the crime.
Can Maywood sink any lower? Every which way you look, there's something terribly amiss. Shootings, failures to solve crimes, dirty police officers, questionable village job appointments, roads such as Fifth Avenue similar to moon-scapes, etc., etc. Maywood, "The Village of Eternal Blight, needs total restructuring starting right at the top. Got that, Mr. Yarborough?
