M06, Lyons GOP committeeman race
Riverside/Brookfield Landmark (Bob Skolnik) has an article on the Republican Committeeman race in Lyons Township. Commissioner Anthony Peraica narrowly won.
I understand the old guard aligned with former commissioner Al Carr wanted to oust Peraica. But what the hell was State Sen. Christine Radogno thinking by supporting LaPidus against Peraica?
Radogno aspires to win a statewide election as a Republican in November. She knows Peraica is going to be the Republican nominee for President of the Cook County Board. Cook County is the biggest county in the state.
Even if Radogno hates Peraica she should make nice with him out of simple self-interest. But deliberately antagonizing Peraica it tells me Radogno is either a complete fool or a weak-willed tool of the old guard.
Does anybody see how back LaPidus against Peraica helps Radogno? If it's gonna work against her no matter what, why would she do it?

It appears that Radogno is a poor potician and tactician and that her staff miscalcuted . I believe that Radogno showed she has no pulse of her community and that she is a puppet of other interests.
Her decision to run state -wide, and then endorse LaPidus shows her lack of integrity, and independence and again shows why Republicans are getting beat everywhere, she DOES NOT STAND FOR ANYTHING, other than the STATUS-QUO!
I read about what was happening here in LaGrange/Western Springs and was amazed that our politics have been hijacked from us and stolen from those corrupt Proviso Polticians !When carpetbaggers like defeated ex- state Senator Tom Walsh,and current stae Rep. Durkin, and eillen Lyons,Cook County Recorder Eugene Moore,District 209 Board President Chris Welch,Proviso Township Trustee Sloan and Proviso Community Liasion Robbins, along with Ed Vrdolak.,Maureen Murphy,Liz Gorman,Jim Perelli and even John Stroger come to Lyons to beat some one, I as an American,taxpayer and war veteran have made the decision that Mr. Peraica must doing something good for our community,if all those crooks and shills are trying to beat him!
Shame on LaPidus for being made a stooge, and shame on Radogno!
I will voter in November for Tony Peraica and I will for the first time vote for a Democrat, who ever runs against Radogno!

I heard Donnie "Big Pussy" Sloan and Jimmy "Pink Sox" Perelli convinced LaPidus to run! They also gave Radogno advise and told her to do it because they know everything!
I also heard that Sloan will be running Radogno's state wide campaign because he can produce big numbers!

What would be Radogno's best case scenario in this situation?
If LaPidus won the committeeman race, presumably this would hurt Peraica for Prez of the County Board.
If Peraica is put in the situation that he's got no chance to win then he doesn't have anything to lose by trashing Radogno.
I should contact Radogno's campaign and put this question to the candidate.

Hey, Carl, you should also interview Mr. Tom Walsh(Proviso Township Lobbyist),Don Sloan and Jim Perelli(Who's wife's insurance company was given the account for Proviso Township) by Don Sloan and Tim Gillian.
All these characters were involved supporting LaPidus and Welch and Moore!

was Eddy Vrdolak helping LaPidus?
Who else was? I heard Stroger was also helping him, along with Tom Walsh and Vrdolak's clowns, Liz Gorman and Maureen Murphy?
I voted for LaPidus but after hearing that Vrdolak supported him, I will never vote for these guys again.

Anytime a politician stands up against corruption, s/he will be attacked by the insiders. The choice is simple- do you want real reform at cook county or continue to have our tax dollars wasted by corrupt insiders!
