  • Congrats to the Proviso Probe community breaking 10,000 visits. Hopefully, we'll break 25,000 by the spring equinox.

  • James T. Smith is claiming that Lightford has a large number of signatures that are either no good or questionable.

His campaign is looking for volunteers to check the sigs on the nominating petitions vs. the signature cards. The sig cards are stored electronically now, so it's clicking around on a computer.

If you want to volunteer to scrutinize Lightford's petitions, call (708) 819-0905.

  • I must admit the Lighford is pretty much invisable in her ward but what does Smith propose to do to give the 4th district residents an active voice and represent the district? What is his background, his platform etc? I went to his website and it is incomplete.
