Bellwood drug dealing
Saturday afternoon I biked to Berkeley on St. Charles Road to appear on Arnie Bryant's radio show.
On the trip I was solicited at least three times for my attention by young Black men standing around. Either Bellwood has become a hotbed of anonymous gay sex or there is significant street drug dealing.
I worked in Maywood in 1998 and was often asked if I wanted to buy drugs. Maywood seems to have much less street drug dealing now.
Mayor Pasquale, you need to address the drug dealing in your community. If it's being done in the open during a Saturday afternoon your police are almost assuredly looking the other way.

Bellwood needs Chief Sei to come to the rescue and stop the drugs! Bellwood is a town on the verge of becoming a ghetto, if Pasquale would leave Bruno alone ,and star doing police work maybe they can run them out, if not there is no hope!!!

Hey Carl I heard you on the Great Arnie Bryant Show! You did great! I hope in the future you will help expose the cabal of "blood suckers", such as Pasquale,Sloan, and Adams and Matlock! My hope that both you and all the print media not lay off these corrupt individuals who have made living in Proviso a true HELL!

Hey Carl, the drug dealing in Proviso is because the overall everyone is out for themselves and don't care about the community! Look at Welch and Moore! Look at Pasquale he keeps Herrel and Sei at their jobs eventhough neither is qualified and have brought great embarrassment to Bellwood!Look at Don Sloan, he represents Proviso's corrupt past(Taddeo and Cimino and Cognlinise and Perelli)and combines it with the present corruption(Moore,Welch,Pasquale and Bruno). Allthose names from the past and present are close associates of Sloan, who has flown under the radar for all these years,yet he survives and prospers, I bet if he sings you'll be able to write the Proviso story over the past 20 years and be able to find the money and the bodies! Sloan is the KEY!

Bellwood is slowly losing it's great community reputation and regardless of who is the blame, (and there is plenty to go around) Some terrible mistakes have been made which has ushered in somme of the problems plaguing the town. Chief Moore's demotion, trustee hacks that refuse to question the powers that be, defacto-mayor campbell running the village, a school district controlled from the outside and run amuck.
Other voices of reason are being silenced. It's a sad state of affairs. How can they turn it around?
Chief Moore was a great cheer leader for the city. People respect him and the community because of him. the drug-dealers must feel comfortable with the new leadership. Too bad, the leaders could not see the forest for the trees.

What a ghetto Bellwood has turned into thnks to Pasquale and Moore and Welch! Don Sloan from Westchester hopes to create the same environment for Westchester because he can't help himself!

ab of bellwood, you must leave the school district out of your comments. Apparently you have had your head in the sand, have you even attended one of the board meetings lately? Have you even talked with the Superintendent? Do you really know what is going on in the district? I think not!
