GOV, North Riverside library to expand [NR]

The North Riverside Public Library is getting crowded, so the kids are being sent to the basement.

The library, 2400 S. Des Plaines Ave., will begin an expansion project this month that will convert part of the unused lower level into a 7,000-square-foot youth services area. The new area will feature more shelving and computers, two study rooms and a storytime room.
