ED, why is Proviso West principal posting job listings? [D209]
In her February newsletter to teachers and staff Proviso West principal Alexis Wallace posted job listings at nearby districts including Downers Grove, Glenbard, Hinsdale, Lyden, Morton and York.
If District 209 has a $7 million deficit this year is the current administration planning to cut the deficit by cutting teachers?
Maybe that 19.5% pay raise over four years that school board president Chris Welch approved while running for state rep wasn't such a good idea after all. Some of us were asking what it would cost back then. See Carl Nyberg (Forest Park Review).

You obviously don't pay as much attention to Proviso as you claim to Carl. The Proviso deficit is now down to $3 million dollars as announced at the last board meeting. Proviso officials are expected to announced a balanced budget as early as March, 2007. So obviously rewarding the teachers with a good contract was not a bad idea. Also Carl, the board unanimously approved the teacher's contract.

Any bets on how much the deficit will rise after the April elections?
I'll wait for an answer from the foolish Proviso Watcher. Also, please detail how the deficit was cut. And be specific.

I think what Wallace's intentions were were to give those looking a heads up and if you look alot of the listings are aimed at those seeking higher positions that Proviso may not offer. I think this shows how much she does care for her staff as well as her students.

Contractor kick-back in Dist 209, 89 & 88
An investigation has been secretly launched by law enforcement officials of an alleged kick back scheme surrounding the failed bid for State Representative by Chris Welch. The Highlighter has learned that Ujjamma Construction of Chicago has been targeted as a pass through for Mr. Welch activities. The scheme involved him suggesting using the company to board members to use the services of childhood friend Keith Criner to funnel cash payments to Campaign coffers and board members pockets.....as alleged no bid construction management consultant to the aforementioned districts.
Ujjamma has had control of all activities surrounding the Multimillion dollar O'hare sound abatement projects and 40 million dollar,Proviso Magnet School.
Wrightwood Decorating owned by Keith and his partner, was used as a dummy company (subcontractor) to add as much as a 20-30% tack on charge to tax payers when actually using the same labor force from Ujjamma.
Ujjamma has also strong armed subcontractors through price gouging and infaltion for monthly payouts.....
Ujjamma activities can be tracked through the freedom of information act per Federal law...
Let's see if the candidate's for the various boards discuss this issue on their platforms...

Is Tommy Miller really a good candidate or is he gullable?
The Highlighter has learned that Tommie Miller has placed his bid in for another term at Bellwood School District 88. Out of fear of losing his sources of income from the Proviso Township High School District 209, many have confirmed his connection to board President Chris Welch. If Tommie is not re-elected he stands to lose the various lucrative money making opportunities...His wife will lose her patronage job with 209 and he will lose his coaching and driver's ed. positions. What are you feeling about this man? Please tell the highlighter the people need to know ........Is he compromised?

Benny Mazzulla uses one of his employee as second Dist. 88 operative!
Yvette Ramirez , long term employee of Stone Park and ex lady of the night (exotic dancer/hoe/trick/bustdown) is placing her bid for School board member at Bellwood School District 88. The highlighter has learned that her checkered past has been disguised by Benny Mazzulla and Maria Castrejon to gain majority over the disheveled board. Benny is unhappy with the current board make up and desires to continue with his hostile take over with Joseph Birdie at his side as the daily overseer of his stake in Dist 88.

yall really need to stop talkin shit about ms. wallace. she is the nicest person in the world. when I was having trouble at home with my mother even though we both knew it wasnt allowed she offered her home to me. she was always there when I was having problems and helped me get through high school. She is what made my high school experience a good one. for all those that dont know her dont say shyt about her!!
