BLOG, make a list of Proviso Insider's falsehoods and lies

I've received a number of complaints about Proviso Insider writing false information about people in the community.

I'd like to collect the examples of stuff that Proviso Insider has written that is factually incorrect and written to harm individuals.

  • I'll start.

    In this entry Proviso Insider claimed I was arrested for theft in May, 1991 and subsequently convicted.

    I had been out of the country since December, 1989 and did not return to the United States until November, 1991.

    In the comments section I offered to discuss the matter with Proviso Insider, but he refused to call me.

    What is the point of making a list of another blogs "falsehoods and lies"? Please. Do you check all information put on your blog? I don't believe that you do, not because you're a bad person, but rather that a blog is available for anyone to contribute. If you have concerns about another blog, then I hope you are ready to confirm all information that is put on your site. And based on the popularity of your site, I surmise that will keep you busy. Don't let this person get under your skin.

  • Momentum is building to expose Carl for his filthy lies and deciet that he has spread across Proviso Township.

    He is a terrible reporter
    He is a terrible blog owner
    He is a terrible coloumist

    He has only one goal and that is to spread sh*t around Proviso and especiallly Forest Park.

    We got a line on his bad bad operation and people are growing in masses to let the township know about the lies and deception.

  • Dave says: oh pleeeese. Aren't BOTH blogs full of lies. Actually, the Probe doesn't post lies, but the people who comment do. I think maybe Nyberg is right. The Insider posts lies to get people going. Let me tell you something Insider, there are so many crooked polititians and school people in Proviso Twshp. that you don't have to make up lies.

    Welch is a known liar. He lied and stated that his parents died in a car crash. So, why are people surprised about the CRAP he lies about on the INSIDER! The asshole killed off his parents to get sympathy votes from the senior citzens in Melrose Park. WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU EXPECT FROM A JACK LEG LAWYER!

    Welch should be very careful with his slanderous lies. People are not like they were 20 and 30 years ago. People are taking medication for mental problems and could just snap any minute. The guy that SNAPPED recently downtown is a prime example!

    Welch is trying to destroy people lives and livelihoods. But he wonders why no one likes him. He is the most hated in Proviso!

    I would hope that people would ignore Welch and beat him at the polls and during elections, but Welch is like a ROACH that can endure every pesticide. PROVISO TOWNSHIP NEEDS TO CALL THE ORKON MAN TO COME AND SPRAY WELCH'S ASS TO KINGDOM COME!
    HELL NO! WELCH MUST GO!

    a well schooled computer geek informed me that if you log on the Proviso Insider from the 15th to the 25th Christmas day, when you click on the link it will totally infect your pc with a fatal virus to the point that your set will shut down and loose all of the memory. Can this happen? Can we get a virus from going to a certain link? This sounds like a master plan of Welch. then he said if you put a code in before you go to the link you will not be infected.

  • well chris welch has sent word to us here at proviso , if we are caught on the probe we will be fired. what ever we do he has his administrators try to fire us. did anyone find out the outcome of the local high school basketball coach who had sex with one of his female basketball players? did he get fired or what. I hope we dont have anything like that in our high School district #209 . I hope all of our coaches are on the
    "up-n- up".I really hope that District 209 does a very extensive background check with all of our coaches especially when we have so many that do not work for 209 but other districts and possibly Chicago school system. If anything ever happens to a child at Proviso like it did at the other local high school , this community will be up in arms.

    Yes, his lies are to numerous to list. We're better off listing what truths he has posted on his site.
