GOV, Brookfield Clerk resigns [BF]

Dan Raddatz officially resigned as Brookfield's village clerk effective Aug. 27, after notifying Village President Michael Garvey and village trustees that he would be moving out of the village immediately. Raddatz confirmed that he was closing on a deal to purchase a new home and sell his Brookfield home on Aug. 28, ending a sometimes frustrating, longer-than-expected real estate deal....

Garvey said that he's accepting letters of interest for the clerk's position and that he could name a replacement as early as Sept. 11, the village board's next meeting.

Any intrigue in the selection of the next clerk?
