CRIME, cop has $100K stolen and returned [FP, LP]

Forest Park police Sergeant Maureen Frawley, a close friend of Sgt. Dan Harder, had over $100,000 stolen from her home and three firearms. Subsequently the guns and money were returned. Frawley asked for the investigation to be dropped. Now the feds are invetigating.

Harder is the police officer whom the Village of Forest Park has been holding termination hearings for the last year based on exceedingly flimsy charges.

  • It seems Police Chief Ryan and Calderone are correct that Harder is no good bum, who should never wear a police badge again and that the attacks against ryan and calderone are politically motivated from these people, Frawley,harder and doolin and johnson!
    What a coincidence that Frawley is on paid leave,Harder,'s not working nor Johnson, and doolin is pimping for them! It seems this money, and past occurences of stolen items with large cash missing, leads one to suspect ill gotton ways of obtaining this money! I bwelieve that these four are probalbly involved in drug dealing,money laundering and gambling .These four are huge assests for criminal groups,like the mob or drug dealers and gangs, because if they have gambling problems,they are prey to being bribed to look the other way! And if Doolin becomes Mayor, Forest Park will become another Cicero or Melrose Park or Maywood, where corruption is the name of the game!
    Intresting to see four irsh bums,gambling,boozing,drugging, and not working and being on the public dole!!!!!
    Carl, I recommend that you look into these guys, because your reputation of good , honest goverment will destroyed by supporting these decievers and crooked bums. These four should be locked in Jail for a long time because there a menace to society, especially there cunning and decieving manners, and hiding behind a badge!They might have graduated from High school or college, but there the worst of criminals, because so much was given to them and much was expected, and they instead sold out there badges and communities for easy,corrupt money!
    Carl, join Calderone and Ryan and help them rid Forest Park of these four human rats, do it for your reputation, and more important for your community! We know we can count on you!

  • If Doolin becomes Mayor, Forest Park will become another Cicero, Melrose Park or Maywood? Does that mean Doolin will align himself with Ron Serpico, hire Anthony Bruno to do public improvement projects and then say on NBC5 news to Carol Marin that Bruno does a good job, take a campaign contribution from the Duff's local 3 union and then allow one of their day labor businesses to illegally open in Forest Park, hire an incompetent police chief that allows minority's to be beaten by his police officers and then retaliates against the honest cops that expose it? Oh, wait a minute, that is what the dis-Honorable Mayor Anthony Calderone has already done. I am confused. Commissioner Doolin has been exposing and trying to get rid of these very criminals since he was elected. Maybe it is you who are confused. VOTE DOOLIN FOR MAYOR!

  • I hear the "Federal" investigation into this is nothing more than one of Calderone & Gillian's friends at the Chicago FBI office doing them a favor to give this non-starter some political legs.   • To,"there getting desperate". you are you "Doolin you must be foolin" or better said "doolin your droolin",to try to spin a story that The FBI, would be doing a favor for some small town mayor?
    The FBI does not play games! When the Feds come to talk to you, think about what they already know and what they plan to do to you!

    Mr. Doolin, don't be scared, and don't cry! Just tell the truth and everything will be alright.Pray all you want, but remember,more than likely one of your partners,Johnson,Harder,Steinbach,Frawley, or those Maywood gang leaders will probably try to cut there best deal, and if there first to cut a deal, then your going to jail.
    Advice, don't talk any bussiness over telephones, and when speaking to your crew, treat them like there wearing a wire and will be testifying in court against you.
    Also I recommend that you invent some family health issue, and step down as trustee and just live quitely and stay under the radar, and possib;ly move out West,Seattle, and don't call any friends from town .Then maybe, maybe, they'll forget about you.NOT!Best bet, go to McNally's FBI office tomarrow and cut a plea deal!

  • It's amazing what some people will do and will lie to get ahead!
    After reading the Forest park review article about Frawley and Harder, and realizing there close association with Johnson and doolin, I have to wonder,Why would doolin run for Mayor?
    Is he naive?Is he delusional?Or is he a pathological liar?
    How could someone act so self rightous and then pretend he knows nothing about Frawlet,Harder and johnson and the $100,000?
    Does he take the forest park citizens as fools?
    His act and actions are so pathetic that instead of running for Mayor he should instead run to an attorney who specialez in criminal defense!
    He has shown himself to be a pathological liar, rumor mongerer, and a deciever!
    His constant critisim of our mayor, our Police chief and our village has become unbearable to all citizens of our great town, and now I truely hope he runs for mayor, so we the people can humilate him, by voting him out for good!
    He shouts and crys about Mayor calderone about his association with Bruno, but yet our Mayor fired Bruno once allegations of him were told.He cries that our Mayor is friends with the Mayor of Melrose Park, but yet he is the mayor and is friend with all the other mayor in proviso. What should our mayor do, not talk to Melrose Park and any other mayor doolin thinks is unacceptable?He cries and besmirches our Police force with comments that they abuse monrities, but yet, he fails to explain why do these monorities in our town act so violently toward are police men? What will it take Doolin to respect our police, a police man getting killed? Doolin acts all high and mighty, but behind close doors he is partners with Johnson , Harder and Frawley, and neither of them can explain why they had $100,000 in cash?
    I hope that calderone not only wins in 2007, but that he be Mayor for life! He is the best mayor Forest Park has ever had!!!! The develpment in our village, our reputation, and the fact that people want to live in Forest park is a testament to Calderone!Calderone brought a Magnet High school to our village, and our finances are the best around proviso!Mayors from surrounding towns are trying to emulate our village, but yet Doolin all he does is make up lies about Caldeone and tries to defame him every where he goes!
    Doolin even supported Proviso Township President Kathy Ryan, the do nothing township superivsor , who for over 6 years at the helm, has done nothing for the villages, and has allowed undo corruption occur under her watch!Ms. Ryan can't even anwser any questions regarding township services because she does'nt know of any and she only cares about getting paid her salary and recieving health insurance for her and her husband! The topper on Kathy Ryan and her husband is that both of them have been unemployed for over 8 years, and yet Doolin supported her thinking she was qualified to handle a 7 million dollar budget!!!Great Role model Doolin!
    Mr. Doolin should go back to his handlers in Maywood and tell them, "I can't fool the people anymore, because they know I'm "Doolin i must be Foolin" and instead I'll just go ahead and continue Droolin"!

  • I hope the residents of Forest park come out in force at the next board meeting(when is it) and demand anwsers from Doolin about what his association is with Harder,Johnson and Frawley, and what hwe would do if Mayor or Police chief to them!
    I can't wait to see him sell them down the river, or else he'll keep quite saying there's an investigation going on and he does'nt want to hurt that investigation!
    Either way,Chief Ryan should have him questioned about his association with them as well as his relationships with them. Forest Park does not need a trustee who supports dirty cops,such as Frawley,harder or Johnson, and we don't need to have either a drug or gambling problem in our town from these corrupt individuals!
    I wonder if our village bylaws have anything on impeachment hearings on Doolin if he refuses to resign!

  • Hey anonymous, what did Harder and Frawley say to Johnson and Doolin and the Mayowood gang dealers, and the MOB guys, about the missing money?
    I wonder if that money was going to used in Doolin's campaign to clean up Forest Park, and they would clean ther money that way?
    Or was the money to used on the Johnson and Doolin construction site,with Frawley and Harder as silent partners?
    I bet the Maywood Gangs and drud dealers along with the mob are looking for these idiots, and it will remind me "weekend at Bernie's"!
    I can't wait to see what Doolin will do as Mayor...... ask that all residents and bussiness owners donate 100 dollars for prtoection to live in our Village!
