GOV, Proviso Township looking to buy property for new HQ

Last night the Proviso Township board discussed acquiring a new property in Broadview to serve as the new township office. All Proviso Township services would be consolidated to one location.

  • Anybody know who owns the property being considered?

  • What's wrong with using some of the space at PMSA, or would this be politically incorrect?
Sorry I'm not up on what's inappropriate when it comes to politics and education, except, that you can get a job(even if you are unqualified) in District # 209 if you are politically connected. (snicker).

  • Broadview? Get the hell out of Broadview for god sakes! They don't even have police & firemen anymore. And what the Christ do these trustees do anyway and why do they even need an office. How about holding their meetings at the various Proviso village halls so we can all have a chance to see these failures in action. Let them rent space at the PMSA or at one of the village halls. They don't take up much space because they don't do anything for residents. And where is the community liaison at? Probably eating big lunches with Serpico & Calderone on their village credit cards.

  • Hey Jesse,
Whore and hack are too good to be used on you. Serpico is going to wipe the floor up with you in Melrose. We Latinos do not want to be used by anyone even our own people. I know your type. Use us for you and the "joined at the hip" brother Ben to help his people. We got your number guy.

  • Mel-Parker,
I doubt you're Latino. I'll let my work and voting record speak for me. I understand your frustration and the need to insult people.

    watching&waiting,
We do have public participation on the agenda. Please come to the next Proviso Township board meeting and express your ideas and concerns.
