HEALTH, is he a quack?

The Illinois Attorney General (Proviso's own Joe Ponsetto) is prosecuting Michael "Doc Mike" Witort of Westchester for practicing medicine without a license. See Chicago Tribune (Victoria Pierce).

Witort's attorney quit because he wouldn't follow instructions in court.

Witort sounds like a colorful character. Anybody know him?

  • yes, i do know mike witort. he has had several professions from banking to selling BBQ sauce, selling plastics and now considers himself to be a doctor. He might have outsmarted himself this time, as the long arm of the law will not be be fooled by DOC MIKE.

  • Mike Witort is not a well man. I spent minimal time around him but enough to know he is sick in the head. I think I even saw a few marbles fall out of his ears. I could say negative things that are all true about his behavior and how he stalked me and others I introduced him to but the fact remains his behavior is a direct result to his mental illness. He also commented in my presents that he had been diagnosed manic depressive as well as bipolar. Does he belong in jail? Not for me to decide... He does abosolutely need help. In fact getting him off the street for a while may not be a bad idea.

  • Hi everyone, I do know Mike Witort as well, I had a scary experience with him, this is the first time I have googled his name in a few years was just wondering if he was finally in prison. 5 years ago, my mother was desperate to get me some help, fibromyalgia was practically killing me, she got ahold of his buisness card claiming to cure fibro. She paid for him to come to my town, stay in a hotel near my house. He told me to gather as many sick people as I could for the first day, he came to my house and worked on many people. with a massager. this is a looong story so now just the highlights, the second day he came back after my husband went to work. He came in my back door screaming at me. He told me I was sick because my air conditioning was on too high. He then checked every room in my house to see who was home (son was home but asleep and young only 11 at the time) he became more enraged. i grabbed the phone quickly while he was checking my bedroom and called my mom and my friend they came over quickly and got there as he was beginning to assault me. Here are the highlights. He is mentally disturbed, I believe manic depressive (he is very grandiose) he is a sexual assailant. In one day several women including my teenage daughter were sexually assaulted by him, during his "massage" he was putting his hands into the crotches of the females he "worked" on. He hurt one gentleman so badly that he was in the hospital a week. I could not walk for quite a while after he damaged me and I believe worse would have happened to me had help not arrived when it did that morning. He did seperate the muscle in my left leg. He is a violent angry man. He has absolutly NO medical training, and at the time was passing himself off as a sports medicine doctor also. I can give you a list of illegal activities this man has been involved in. Have done research. My local police dept. worked with the police in his area to get him arrested, for the crimes he committed in my home he can only be punished if he comes back to my state, but I did give depositions and participate in the charges that were being filed some years ago by people in Chicago. wondering what happened there. Sick sick sick, beware I can't say that enough!!!!! At the time he had his own website, he actually was selling a video on massage where he was releasing pms tension by massage in the vaginal region, this was a home made video featuring his girlfriend I believe.

  • doc mike witort, is truly a sick man. I met him 5 years ago when my mom, who was trying to help me, I was terribly ill had a prelim diagnosis of fibromyalgia with the possibility of m.s., I was in an acute state at the time,...she had a buisness card that had been passed around of docs that claimed he was a doctor and cured fibromyalgia, she paid him to come to our state and stay in a hotel close to my house. The first day he had told me to have friends over that we knew that were sick he would work on everyone. So, I had about 10 people there, he sexually assaulted most of the females by putting his hand in between their legs during the massage, including my teenage daughter. One man that was there was terribly ill, ended up in the hospital for a week. By the end of the first day I could not walk at all. He showed up at my house very early the next day came in my back door screaming at me, he said I wanted to be sick and my air conditioning was too high that is why I was sick. I could barely move my legs. He demanded to know who was home and began to search my house room by room and found my 11 year old son in bed, he yelled at me for that, in the meantime i called my friend and my mom and they got to my house quickly but not before he hurt me again. Such a long story, I am writing this just in case there is some woman out there who is considering seeing him, please dont!!!! My local police department tried to prosecute him, I ended up as part of a suit against him in Chicago, I did depositions as did several people at my house that day. And if he ever comes around Indiana again he may be prosecuted for sexual assault. Lots of scary details with this story, thats the short version. I still believe in healing. There are amazing healers in this world, doc just isnt one of them. Steve, if you are interested in real healing, google the name of Solomon Wickey. I personally know people he has cured of way worse than fibromyalgia. L.B.

  • Doc Mike is a Certified Quack; he is a dangerous and mentally ill man. He preys on people’s Weakness for money. He states he is a Faith Healer; the only faith he gives is stealing money from honest people and telling outrageous lies. He does not heal, he is a fake. Stay away from this individual.
