What's your objection?
Who put the girl in the campaign literature?
What is the purpose of this picture?
Gene is trying to sell himself as the kind of guy that talks with children on the playground.
Does it look like he has rapport with the girl?
It's technically bad campaign literature. As such, it's fair game for ridicule.
Moore's granddaughter is in it? That's not a decision for which I have any responsibility.

on December 12, 2005 when you filed for State Representative you pleged to follow the Fair Campaign Practice act which says....

STATE OF ILLINOIS

There are basic principles of decency, honesty, and fair play that every candidate for public office in the State of Illinois has a moral obligation to observe and uphold, in order that, after vigorously contested but fairly conducted campaigns, our citizens may exercise their constitutional right to a free and untrammeled choice and the will of the people may be fully and clearly expressed on the issues.
THEREFORE:
(1) I will conduct my campaign openly and publicly, and limit attacks on my opponent to legitimate challenges to his record.
(2) I will not use or permit the use of character defamation, whispering campaigns, libel, slander, or scurrilous attacks on any candidate or his personal or family life.
(7) I will immediately and publicly repudiate methods and tactics that may come from others that I have pledged not to use or condone. I shall take firm action against any subordinate who violates any provision of this Code or the laws governing elections.
In there you stated that you would Publically repudiate the actions of any who did not folllow that act. I invite you to be a women of your word. Step up to the plate Rep. Yarbrough!

The Chicago Tribune is drawing attention to Cook County officials going to Hawaii on the taxpayer's dime for the National Association of Counties conference.
The elected official who spent the most taxpayer money was Recorder of Deeds Eugene Moore. Four staff members attended along with Moore. His office's bill totaled $12,980.

District 209 in west suburban Proviso Township, where Moore is the Democratic committeeman, on Monday [August 21, 2005] approved an insurance brokerage contract with Moore's EMM & Associates.
Under the terms, Moore could stand to earn $150,000 in the deal. He makes $105,000 as recorder of deeds.
The school board approved the one-year contract Monday by a 4-3 vote. One of the members who voted in favor of it was Reatha Henry, the board secretary who was elected in April.
I nguess smilimg at his grandadaughter won't fool the voters into believing he,Gene"Fragile Flower" Moore is a nice guy. Fragile Flower Moore is rotton to the core,stealing money from poverty stricken kids in the worst high school district in the State, and it was given to him by Chris Welch!

Why would Moore put his grand daughter in a poltical ad? He is such a target now a days. People don't like him. Does he think about safety for his family?
I know Graddy Rivers also put his elderly mother on a politcal flyer. These polticals need to think. The world is not like it used to be 20 and 30 years ago. People are CRAZY!
I just think that Moore did not think on this. He is being lead around like a puppy by Welch that he doesn't know if he is coming or going. The political piece is a good piece, but is was wrong to involve his young grand child. If Moore does so much for the community, why doesn't he use those photos when is is around town helping children out?
If you don't want flack, don't involve your family and make it public.
