ED, high school business manager hired away [D209]

Sarah Johnson-Millon, the business manager for Proviso Township High Schools, has been hired by Sauk Village Elementary School District. See The Times (of NW Indiana(Joan Carreon)).

  • I was unimpressed with Millon when she seemed clueless about what East and West spent for their signs when the board considered purchasing a sign for PMSA. She also had a bit of an attitude, like, "why should I be expected to know that?"

  • Forest Park Review (Seth Stern) quotes Theresa Kelly as saying Millon quit before team Welch fired her. The article also raises the issue of who is going to replace Millon.

    If it's a Welch crony this would make it easier for the board majority to spend money without the minority and media getting word about inappropriate spending.

  • Mistress Million was clueless about how to conduct professional business with the employees of Proviso East. She was rude and inconsiderate when it came to the concerns of staff. I think that it is a good thing that she has left. I only hope the next person will know more about there job and be more professional! Good luck Sauk Village Elementray District 168, because you are going to need it in dealing with her arrogant attitude.

    You work at Proviso East and you don't know the difference between there and the possessive their. Houston we have a problem: that is why Johnny can't read. Proviso employs adults that are DUMB! Maybe you need to start doing political work so that you can keep your job.
