I heard about this bomb threat. Is it a conincidence that it impacted the highly successful Proviso East Job Fair? Was this planned by a Yarbrough supporter?

What does Yarbrough gain from someone making a bomb threat?

Yarbrough is so dirty and worried about Chris Welch's campaign, she would do anything to prevent Proviso from getting positive publicity. Right Carl?

Positive publicity? Speaking of which, a janitor who shall remain nameless said that Welch planned the whole thing as a prelude to rolling out his campaign.

D209's press release:
Proviso East High School
Evacuated after false threat
Maywood, IL. – A bomb threat call that turned out to be a hoax was received Wednesday morning at Proviso East High School. The entire school was immediately evacuated as a precaution by school officials. Principal Milton Patch stated, “Due to the severity of the call, we take all situations seriously and as a precaution, the entire building was evacuated for safety. Proviso East staff worked quickly and professionally to ensure that our students were safe.”
According to Maywood Fire Officials, there appeared to be no present danger to the Proviso East building. Students and faculty were able to return to their regularly scheduled classes by 10:30 a.m.
“District 209 takes these threats very serious and an investigation will be conducted to find and prosecute those responsible to the fullest extent of the law,” stated Emanuel “Chris” Welch, District 209 Board President.
In spite of the false threat, the 3rd Annual Employment Fair for students continued in the Memorial Hall gymnasium. More than 160 students and 15 employers participated in this year’s fair.
Something seems strange about this press release. What is it?
And doesn't it seem odd this wasn't covered in the daily papers?

I find it strange that Welch showed up at the school within minutes of the bomb threat to shake hands and politic. Was he really wearing lipstick and eyeliner?
Why is there a press release sent out for a bomb threat. They received threats before. Were press releases sent out and did the president of the board respond? I thought the supt. is supposed to do that, not Welch. Libka probably was some where figuring out the rubic cube or playing with paper clips. That guy is a complete idiot and Welch is an idiot with a law degree that he received from the College of DuPage.

I still don't understand why so much focus on the politics, and not on the students. Not only was their safety at stake due to this bomb threat, but also during all the fights that happened while being outside. Why was this out of control? Why did it escalated to the point of a young lady loosing her unborn child? Where was the so called security? This is not a matter of who needs publicity or not, is not a matter of Mr. Welch nor Mrs. Yarbrouh. This is a matter of responsibility and security for those teenagers, remember them? they are the students who walk through those doors and whose parents expect to see at the end of the day!!! If the elected officials would put their differences aside, and concentrate on what they were elected for, things would definitelly be different. Leave politics outside of the teaching and learning environment, and take care of personal matters, on YOUR personal time.
From an angry community parent.
