Broadview budget hearing TONIGHT

Broadview has had various issues with its budget over the years. Notably it has had to make extreme cuts in fire and police services.
It was reported Broadview lost its budget once. Although since the original story, another explanation has emerged. Broadview didn't lose its budget; village leaders just didn't want the auditor to see how egregiously the actual spending differed from the budget that was passed. So they concocted a story about "losing" the budget.
What: Public Hearing for Broadview Fiscal Year 2008 Budget
When: Wed. August 15th 7:30 to 10:00 pm
Where: Village Hall, 2350 S. 25th Ave.

I find it very strange that all of sudden you want to writet about the crap that the editor of West-View gives you. it the same person who teamed up with the Village racist and the tresuer who refused to provide documents of any kind. So try to be a real reporter and go out and find the truth. The smoking gun is a written document in the Broadview Fire House. Ask why the new trustee has only been to 2 meeting until he was called out! I forgot your aligned with the West-View since their printing apologies for your bullshit!!
