As far as Westchester is concerned....
I am a supporter of the Progressive Party (except MR FOX). I have know Mr Casey for 20+ yrs and have always thought he was a good person.
Mr Boyle seems knowledgeable and has some experience that may be of value to the town.
Mr Fox, on the other hand, gives the impression that he is always out to make trouble. He always is looking for an angle at which to be critical. I guess this works for him in his personal / professional life, but doesnt work for me in a Public Administration Forum. I didnt vote for him last time and I wont vote for him this time. He is just there to posture and preach.
We need Actions, not Rhetoric on our town board.
I hope others feel the same and DONT VOTE FOR RICK FOX.

I like the independents for Westchester Board. They are getting together to work for a common cause....the other look like they want to work against all the rest......

The Maywood 80 elections are crucial to the stability and progress of the schools. The incumbents need to go; with their micromanagement and personal agendas, the District has obtained a very unscrupolous reputation as being unfair to employees, having blatant nepotism, not to mention inappropriate personal relationships. Please rid us of these self-serving individuals.

Both "looking for progress" and "Westchester#1" is written by the well known agitator and political opportunist and most abusive westchester employee Mr. Don "Overtime is my middle name" Sloan!!!!
Don "OT" Sloan is livid and angry.He can't sleep well ever since his abusive overtime was expposed at his job at the water department!! He hates Fox because Fox did his job as trustee in Westchester and asked Mayor Gattusso and trustee Angelo Luciano why were they raising taxes on Water bills, instead of focusing on how much abusive overtime was being done by Mr. Don"OT" Sloan! Sloan did not like that Trustee Fox was questioning his overtime and felt that trustee Fox was trying to block his (Sloan's) percieved benifits of unsupervised overtime when ever Sloan was short of money.Sloan who is very,very,very close to Angelo Luciano,and Donny Luciano and Paul Gattusso told Luciano and Gattusso to ruin trustee Fox or else he would do it himself!!!
Gattusso and Angelo Lucioano who are afraid of Sloan, because of Sloan's connections to Melrose Park and also to Chris Welch, did AS they were told!
But, to Luciano's and Gattusso chagrin they failed in stoping Fox! So Sloan decided to slander Rick Fox, calling him names and spreading rumors.Angelo Luciano also started to do the same things and attacked Rick Fox and his family. They both(Sloan and Angelo Luciano,along with Gattusso and Donny Luciano) then placed Brian Sloan(Don Sloan's nephew) on the ballot to run along side Angelo Lcuiano so as to hedge there bets against the possiblbity that Rick Fox,Pat Casey and Doyle won!!!
Now 5 days before the election, Sloan and Angelo Luciano,along with Paul Gattusso are desperate!!! There plan is to portray Brian Sloan as an Independent and as a peacemaker in the village!!! They,Don Sloan and Angelo Luciano, along with Mayor Gattusso and Donny Luciano are trying to now lie to Westchester voters and decieve them into believing that both canidiates,Brian Sloan and Angelo Lucaino are not together and if either is elected they will vote for the Status Quo and to keep Don Sloan's overtime rolling along without supervision!! Just like Melrose Park poltics or 209 politics, both Don "OT" Sloan and Angelo"MELROSE PARK" Luciano want the voters to not question there moves, they just want the voters confused and to continue paying for there crimes and misdemenors!!!

The Westchester election is a very important election for this Village. Over the past two years under the new Mayor, Westchester has fallen behind every other village in terms of development and in terms of openess.Where once Westchester was villaged where others wanted to move to and admired, the last two years has seen a village that has lost its way.
Ever since John Sinde died, this village under its current leadership, has been run as a private socail club run by Angelo Luciano, his nephew,Park board trustee Donny Luciano and Westchester employee Don "OT" Sloan. While the new Mayor,Gattusso spends all his days at his hotdog stand and leaves Westchester to its fate, Angelo Luciano(who placed Gattusso as Mayor , along with Donny Luciano and Don Sloan)control the villages everyday bussiness.
These past two years have seen our local elementary school district test scores fall to there loweest levels.Also over these past two years, no new economic development has not occured, with the only bussiness plan being a new Strip joint development being brought by Angelo Luciano and Don Sloan's ally,Chris Welch(the current 209 board president,who is supporting James Boyd).This makes one wonder why is Westchester allowing this to ocur.
Now in a move reminiscent of 209 politics or Melrose Park poltics, Angelo Luciano and Don Sloan, along with Mayor Gattusso has placed a "stealth canididate" Brian Sloan(Don Sloan's drunk nephew) as a canididate for trustee and are saying he is running as an Independent!!!
As Westchester politics have changed, because of the neglect of the current mayor and the abuse and lies of Angelo Luciano and Don Sloan, I ask voters to look at the canidiates and pick wisely. Do we need Don Sloan, Donny Luciano and Tom Robbins, along with Angelo Luciano running our village and running it like Melrose Park or 209??? Do we need to keep paying for Don Sloan's overtime, which he takes whenever and without supervision???Do we need to support a village employee,Don Sloan, trying to influence our electoral process by placing canididates to run for village elections to pressure the mayor into allowing this employee to do whatever he wants????Can we continue living with a Mayor and Angelo Luciano and Don Sloan who kept quite about the strip joint coming to our neighborhood, because there friends were involved with the adult entertainment club?? What ever happened to the villages committee to assess what to do with our high school district?? Why does Mayor Gattusso get a free pass, when he does not follow the villages ordinances and is allowed to say he "forgot about it""????
I recommend to not vote for Angelo Luciano or Brian Sloan or James Boyd, and please tell them, we don't want Don Sloan, Angelo Luciano,Donny Luciano and Tom Robbis running our village!!!!
Vote for Fox,Casey and Boyle!!!

The MAYORS position in the village of westchester is NOT a full time job....the town is run by the village manager....
