GOV, Dems vote to fund Iraq War with conditions
Today the House Democrats passed a supplemental appropriation bill requested by President Bush to fund continuing the Iraq occupation. However, the Democrats attached some condition. The bill calls for withdrawing troops from Iraq by September, 2008. And President Bush must certify that progress is being made on the ground in Iraq. President Bush has promised to veto the legislation.
