POL, How are local candidates selected?
People involved in local politics are already talking about who will run for office next spring. Various local positions are up for election, including school board races and village government.
Rather than discuss who is running, I’d like people to comment on how candidates are selected and what you think would be a better way to select candidates.

How are candidates chosen in Proviso? Why Mike Manzo chooses them for us. Then they promptly lose in the General Election! Just like Tony Peraica will lose in November!

How are candidates selected in your community?
I know one candidates,Don Sloan was selected because he cried to every Mayor in the Township,who would'nt support him, then went washed their cars for over 6 months and still cried and promised to vote there way on anything they wanted, and then allowed himself to be raped and sodomized by all of Gene'More's followers over on 5th Ave.
Sloan stated that's the way he got on.How did the other poeple get on?

Why is Theresa Kelly being considered for 209 school board again?
Is she automatically on the ballot because she is now Karen Yarbrough's best friend or Charlie Flowers?
Who will question her about her past SINS that she committed against the school chidren of Proviso when she was allies and best friends with Gene Moore and Chris Welch?
Because she now disavows Welch and Moore,does that make her worthy of looking out for the children and taxpayers?

"Emannuel", Try as you must, but we will not be deterred by the vicious, disgusting, women-hating rhetoric that is spewed by you on this blog.
The smear campaign orchestrated by you and "the truth-tellers of proviso", didn't work against Karen Yarbrough and it will not work against Theresa Kelly.
This community will not rest until Chris Welch resigns and leaves our district with haste!
