N06, what's it mean to be a Dem? who should Dems support for prez of county board?
Bill Dwyer (Forest Park Review) identifies himself as a Democrat who will support Commissioner Tony Peraica (Republican) over Alderman Todd Stroger (Dem) for President of the County Board in November. (Does Stroger have a campaign website?)
If you identify with the Dem Party, please explain why? Are your reasons for being a Dem going to cause you to vote for Peraica or Stroger?

I am a Democrat, in November 2006 I will vote for Democrat, except for Toddler Stroger. No experience. No clue. He is only in this position because of his dad. I am Black, Afrocentric, for my people,all that but not this time. Periaca like all politicians have some issues, but it is time for a change. The only thing Stroger Sr. has done for me, was increase my taxes. Thanks alot, my dear brother. I will vote for Perica and I will share with other blacks to do the same. Dam, Stroger. Where was he when Harold Washington ran for Mayor. Dam Stroger. Where was he when Obama ran for Senator. Dam, Stroger,a hospital named after him, he goes to another hosptial in stead of STROGER HOSPITAL - WHICH HE HAD TO PASS UP ON HIS WAY TO THE OTHER HOSPITAL. WITH HIS CLOUT HIS DOCTORS IF NOT AFFILIATED WITH STROGER HOSPITAL COULD HAVE WENT THERE TO TREAT HIM. I can here some brothers or sisters saying what is this brother saying about our Stroger. I am saying step to the sideline Stroger family and let someone else quarterback, because the family is throwing too many interceptions - which is COSTING US the game, that is quality services.

Time For a Change you are right, but why do we have to openly critize our people and put a white man on a pedestal. Inheriting positions, whites have being doing it for centuries. Two wrongs don't make it right, but you have your Kennedys, Daleys, Madigans, and let's not forget the Bushes! White people support each other no matter what! I get what you are saying it is difficult to support Todd Stroger because of his family's name, but give him a chance. He is not his father. I understand it is hard, because the Black leadership within Cook County and Proviso Township are pathetic, spineless, Uncle Tom Negroes. We have a decline in quality Black leadership, men specifically, on the local and nation levels. My advice to uplift your spirit, is to read The Convenant With Black America. This will inspire you to use what you have to make a difference in Cook County which will as a result make the pitiful elected officals responsible and accountable.
Keep yo' head brother and do the right thing come election day. You don't know what Perica is capable of doing. At least you some inclination of what Todd can do.

To Proviso Guru, I am sick and tired of Jews,Koreans and Arabs telling us how to vote, why don't your people go tell your asses what to do! Stroger is a stooge for the Zionist Jewish control of county goverment and we must remove him to expose the jews and whites who tell him what to do!
Vote for anyone else than Stroger!
