GOV, Rick Fox's take on Broadview-Westchester water commission [W, BV]
Westchester Trustee Rick Fox has a post at Westchester Public Affairs about the joint water commission/agency with the village of Broadview.
Fox requested the minutes be provided to the Westchester board of trustees about a year ago. Friday, August 25, he finally got to see the documents.
Fox questions two line items: $30,000 for a lobbyist and $15,000 for conferences.
He also questions Village President Paul Gattuso's claim that he's been holding costs down.
Fox is also clearly irritated with his fellow trustee Angelo Luciano who represents the Village of Westchester on the agency/commission board.

It’s interesting that in the very first set of minutes that we received, it states that “Mr. Gattuso made a motion that the Board approve all overtime for the water handlers.” This, despite him stating numerous times over the past year at village board meetings that he has – in his words – put a brick on overtime at the water commission.
Fox is also clearly irritated with his fellow trustee Angelo Luciano who represents the Village of Westchester on the agency/commission board.
At Tuesday’s meeting, Mr. Luciano stated that he would not provide reports to the village board, it wasn’t his responsibility. He stated that if I wanted the information, I knew where I could find it.

Westchester is falling apart!
Under the new Mayor, Paul Gattuso,AKA HOTDOGS, Westchester seems to be in a state of decline.Financially every village has been affected, but in Westchester needed improvements have stagnated under his leadership, and no concrete actions have taken place. A consulting group was hired to bring new recommendations for improving Westchester, but due to Gattuso's mangment and slow response, real improvements will not be done, because he has waited to long to implement improvements, and the interest rates will continue going up causing the village to have less and less money to bring neccesary improvements to the village! Gattuso missed the real estate boom and growth years, which ended in early spring on this year, causing the village to lose, million of dollars in lower interest rates, due to his style of goverment of do nothing, and waiting for Trustee Luciano and best friends, Dominic Luciano and Don Sloan to tell what moves to make.
Gattuso who won the Mayoral job,two years ago in hotly contested election which pitted him against two other rivals, won that election because of the retiring Mayor John Sinde backed him. Mr. Sinde was the long time Mayor of Westchester who built the town up and created one of the greates villages in the Western suburbs. Mr. Sinde who retired,(he would have won again if he would have ran), felt Mr. Gattuso , who was a trustee at the time, would be a good mayor. After two years of doing nothing,(It took him a year and a half just to hire a village manger)it appears that Mr. Sinde was wrong about him. Mr. Gattuso promised many things for Westchester and since being elected has reneged on all his promises. His only claim to fame was "Paulie's a nice guy" but Westchester voters now know that he really is'nt that nice, but that he is also a liar. It's also alleged that he is just a figure head Mayor and the true Mayor is his political mentor, Angelo Luciano, along with Dominc Luciano(Angelo's nephew) and Proviso Township TrusteeDon Sloan. This appears to be true, because of the increase power the Luciano's and Sloan's have in the town, and Mayor Gatuso's and Trustee Luciano's to follow the rules they set up , when it comes to one of "there guys"!
Mr. Gattuso is known to be a loyal supporter of Luciano and Sloan, and thanks to both Luciano and Sloan the greedy hands of Melrose Park are involved in the village.
It is a well known fact that Sloan and Angelo and Dominic Luciano, along with Gattuso meet twice a month with certain Melrose Park officials and Cicro officials at TOM's Steakhouse in Melrose Park.Sloan who goes by the name the fixer,is the go between for all these officials, and is a poltical powerbroker in the township as well as in Cook County Goverment. During elections, Sloan has at his disposal over 100 men walking the streets for his canididates. He currently controls the Proviso High school district 209, and he is currently working closely with Todd Stroger and Gomelinsky, the democrat running in the 16th district against our own Republican Cook county Board member and corruption fighter Tony Peraica! Sloan has been so successfull that he has the Lucianos and Mayor Gattuso endorsing Todd Stroger and Gomelinsky!!
Conclusion is the Mayor of Westchester has done nothing and he has lied repeatedly and has hurt the village of Westchester more than anyone knows. His inability to do anything or better yet, to think anything to improve the village, along with his taking orders from The Luciano's and Sloan has made Westchester into the newest community where White flight is occuring faster than you can shake a stick at!!!
John Sinde must be turning in his grave now seeing what destruction and a disaster Gattuso,Luciano and Sloans have done to the village in only 2 years!God protect Wsetchester from these three stooges!

I heard it is true that gattuso and Sloan and Luciano are tied at the hip!
Westchester use to be such a nice town, quiet and peaceful. Now , rumor has that Sloan,Lucianos and Anthony Bruno are planning to open an Adult entertainment district on mannhein Rd. in Westchester!
There goes the neighborhood!

Is it true that the Luciano family controls Westchester? Is it true that Don Sloan during the past election in Westchester had a few of his thugs "slap around" Fox,Genova and Casey and Sullivan and Gordon?
How much bussiness Does Dominic Luciano do with 209, the Westchester Park board, Westchester village hall, Proviso Township and with Melrose Park?
Is it true Mayor Gattuso is supporting Stroger for Cook County Board President and the Democrat opponent of The Republican Cook County Commissioner from his own district, who has his district office in Westchester? Why would Gattuso support someone who(the Democrat Gomalinski) does'nt care anything about Westchester and who won't do a thing for Westchester, against the elcted Cook County official, the Republican , who supports and fights for Westchester, has his offices in our village and was supported and endorsed by the Greatest Mayor in Westchester, John Sinde, who also by the way endorsed and help elect Gattuso? I don't get the reasoning behind Gattuso's decision?I guess he supports Corruption, along with his Friends Todd Stroger, Eugene Moore,Ron Serpico and others!

According to insiders who worked the gattuso campaign, it's been insuated that Gattuso stole the election from Casey and Pulia, by using the Sloan and Luciano political machine to steal votes!
Look at how many absentee voters voted in Westchester and see how amny new voters voted in Westchester at the polls, who were noted asked for picture ID's at the voting booth, because all the election judges and poll watchers and precinicit captains in front of the polls were Sloan's and Luciano's guys!
According to my sources, over two hundred to six hundred Melrose Park and Maywood inidividuals voted under false names and even under there names in Westchester, thanks to Sloan's and Luciano's shenangins!
Count the absentee ballots, as well as those 200 to 600 votes, and Gattuso wins by a nose, so guess that he really is not the elected Mayor, but the guy who ended in Second is the true Mayor!

well...if that is all true...why are you bringing this all out nowand not having it looked into by the election "people" who can do something about it? Or is it all BS....it sounds like the sour grapes attitude that is also being spread around by Ricky Fox (if you read his Blog).

Hey Guys in Proviso I know who Rickie Fox is and he is a bum, who is henpecked by his wife Peff and can't afford to move out of town to his dream home in Plainfield! Fox all he does is cry, scream and holler, and nobody listens to him.
Fox is our Paul Revers warning us about "those evil Luciano's and Sloan's" and promising to stop us.If he would remeber, he would have never been elected in the first place if it was'nt for Angelo and Sloan, who got him his votes! Now how will he get elected? I don't tihnk he'll even win his own block!
I can't wait for that Taliban Fox and his friends,Christopher"Colombus"Genova, and that drunk Dentist Sullivan and that high school drop out Casey, with those bum brothers the Gordons of Star Treck run, so we "the evil ones" the Luciano's, the Christophers ,The Sloans, the Busa's and the gattuso's can kick there asses once and for all out of the village and parks and hopefully out of our town, along with Norfolk family and Kengsington family!
Warning to Fox and friends, your spin zone is almost over and I'm planning to stick my foot down your throat, you weanie weaner!
Stay on the North side of town along with all your "brothas", you hear! Or GET OUT!

For the record . . .
Sneed's Thursday item about Cook County Board president candidate Tony Peraica listing the endorsement of deceased Westchester Village President John Sinde on his Web site caught the attention of Sinde's widow, Marilyn Sinde. Mrs. Sinde informed the column that her husband did endorse Peraica before his death.

Sinde Widow Responds to "Insensitive" Sneed Attack, Reaffirms Support of Peraica
8/31/2006 3:58:00 PM
Whaaa???
In a city where dead men vote, it makes sense they would also endorse.
Translation: The Web site for Cook County Board president candidate Tony Peraica lists former Westchester Village President John Sinde as having endorsed the Republican Peraica.
The problem: Perhaps Sinde would back Peraica, but we'll never know because he died in 2005!
--Michael Sneed, Chicago Sun-Times, August 31, 2006
http://www.suntimes.com/output/sneed/cst-nws-sneed31.html
In response to the above Michael Sneed commentary today, former Westchester Mayor John J. Sinde's widow, Marilyn Sinde, issued the following statement:
"My family and I are extremely disappointed by the insensitivity and inaccuracy of Ms. Sneed's column today. Her remarks about my late husband and our family friend Tony Peraica only reflect poorly on her. Had she bothered to do her homework, she would have known that my husband John was a long-time supporter of Tony Peraica. John endorsed Tony when he ran for Cook County Commissioner in 2002 and pledged his support early on after Tony announced his campaign for Cook County Board President in April 2005. The Sinde family supports Tony Peraica because he understands the importance of integrity in public service and is a tireless worker and advocate for families in Westchester and throughout Cook County."

The Luciano's (Angelo and Dominic) along with Don Sloan , should be ashamed about themselves today. After calling Michelle Sneed and telling her that outragous lie about Tony Peraica and our Great,Late Mayor Sinde, and even sending her photos of Mayor Sinde and Tony Peraica, all three of you inmature boys were reprimanded. Sneed had to put a retraction in the Sun Times today stating that there was a mistake, that she did'nt do her homework, and that she was wrong that yes, Mayor Sinde did endorse Tony Peraica for Cook County Board President!
My question to the three of you , mischivios boys is what on earth were you three(Angelo,Dominc and Don) thinking? All three of you know that John Sinde loved Tony Peraica like a son, and totally supported him. Also remeber John was a real Republican and always supported good, honest goverment, with tax cuts, because he knew the Democrats were always about tax hikes, and in Cook County that meant more taxes taken from the working Middle class, like Westchester to have it spent to support Welfare for those people who were young, but lazy and did,nt want to work!John never would support what is happening in Cook Country today, with Todd Stroger and the corrupt ways there.I know he would have been upset with you three guys, knowing that the three of you were working closely with Stroger, along with Maywood and Melrose Park, and supporting the Democrat opponents of the Republican from Westchester,Tony Peraica!
We all know john also supported Gattuso, hopefully he'll make a comment about this unfortunate situation, and reprimand all three of you guys, and come out in Full support of Honesty, good goverment, low taxes and republican family values and work hard to elect Tony Peraica!
Now Angelo, Dominc and Don go to cxhurch and to confession, and stop acting against Westchester and our traditions and values, support Tony and ask Maryln and her family to forgive you guys.
Now GO GET THEM,TIGER!

To Mr. Fox, is it true that for a teenager to get a part time Job in the Westchester park district in the Summer, you have to be sponsored by one of the Luciano's, or Gattuso or Sloan?

Is that how you did it Rick? You are the one that called Sneed? Shame on you, you snake. You hate the Luciano's so badly that you would blame THEM for something that you and Manzo did. You both are a piece of work. You two better go to Church. You are so vial it makes me sick. Instead of going up to one of the Luciano's and saying something to their face you go and post lies. You talk about Gattuso and yet you are at the restaurant for your hand out. JERK!

To all Westchester residents who are appalled at the corruption occuring under in our Park and Village hall, and can't believe what is being said about certain individuals and there connections with certain towns, please do yourself a favor and go visit the the Taste Of Melrose Park this weekend. There in the best placed booth in the Taste will be "Sloan's Slushies" with Mr. Don Sloan , along with his employees the Proviso Township Liason Tom Robbins,4 209 janitors who are his nephews and one friend is a Westchester Library Board member, and even two Westchester park board trustees,Dominic and Joe Christopher, with Mayor Gattuso working ther booth Sunday afternoon. Angelo usually spends all day there walking around and smoking cigars.
All major decisions for Westchester will be made this weekend at the Taste Of Melrose Park for the year, so please stop buy and say Hello to our bosses in Westchester who take there orders and hang out in Melrose Park!!
P.S. Imagine pictures of these guys in Melrose Park! Also Is Sloan working overtime this weekend or is he off?

To anonymous , accusations can be proven , I have two people who are witnessed to certain things that can put someone away. I think it would be interesting/exciting to go to court and provide the evidence to lock a culprit up. I would just feel bad for the person's family because they don't know what ascoundrel these guys are!

And what a story teller you are. I will go to the "Taste of Melrose" and if I see any of these people that you are talking about working for Sloan I will retract what I said. But if THEY ARE NOT THERE you, Manzo and Rick, own us all an apology for being a liar and should retract what you said.
Got it Jerks!
It's getting old now. Can't you blog about something more interesting than them.

I was at the "Taste Of Melrose" and I DID NOT SEE Luciano nor Gattuso there. Now I think that you owe all of us an apology for being a liar and stating false truths about certain people. So go ahead and apologies Rick and Manzo!
