I read it to be some what imformed of the different issues going on in the Proviso Township.
Other times I read it to laugh about the silly comments that "professionals" make about opposite members of their parties.
But mostly I read it to see if there is anything to entertain me.

I read it to see what dumb and idiotic things occur in Proviso! I love reading about Moore and Welch, and alsdo about the Corruption at the township and in Forest Park!
Carl, keep up the good work!

I find it hard to believe that the series of failures which have rocked Proviso Township over the past few years are deemed acceptable. They are acceptable because a $40 million bond was sold to build a third high school. So much fighting for power, but it's the students at both Provisos who suffer. Welch isn't the only one to blame. Our community is also to blame. Welch is not a leader in the field of education. There should be no doubt in anyone's mind about that! The decisions that this board of directors have made may not be illegal, but they are certainly unethical. Unfortunately, the Proviso Township voters have re-elected Welch to continue with his vision and not the vision of our youth. Now, when that happens, of course he's going to believe that he's a good leader. Until our community steps up, we really shouldn't say anything. It's our votes that matter most! As a 1986 Proviso East graduate, I am appalled at how we have allowed such bigotry and poor decisions for so long. Remember, it's our youth who are suffering. Since it's obvious that Welch doesn't care, when will we as community residents show otherwise?

I agree with Anonymous. Proviso Probe exposes the state of District 209 and all it's inequities.
Ultimately, the citzens of Proviso Township will be the one's bearing the brunt of the misfortune based upon the lackadaisical attitudes of which we choose our leaders. As a township, we have been conditioned to respect the pomp and circumstances that surround these leaders without delving into the true nature of how they operate. We tend to listen to those that we deem successful based on their status in the community and we tend to take their words as gospel. As individuals, we have to take ownwership of our communities and take a proactive step towards organizing for the future.
From this day forward, I will be posting my thoughts on this blog as well as my own. Ideally, I would like to organize those of strong mind and body to help thwart the efforts that these leaders have bestowed on our township, our children and our survival.
My Blog will be available on 1/23/06. I'll keep you posted.
