I received this email from him this week:
Greetings Friends:
We have been working hard on gathering signatures on petitions since September 27, 2005, and it is going extremely well. Our message has been, and continues to be, received by the people of the 7th District in a positive manner. A formal announcement will take place on Friday, November 11, 2005 at 3pm at Mariella's Banquet Hall, 124 S. 5th Avenue, Maywood. (Across from the Maywood Police Station.) Please plan to attend. The event is free of charge. Also, please feel free to pass this email on to your friends and ask them to attend.

Yes this e-mail is real, and Mr. Welch will have Stroger present and Eugene Moore present at his announcement!I really believe that the focus of this race should be about Eugene"fragile flower" Moore and his control of district 88,89,and 209 and his Insurance commissions.Eugene Moore is the true king of Corruption in Proviso, and his "lowdown" babe,Chris his spy.Moore needs to be beat for his Democratic Committeeman race, more badly then Welch needs to lose.Keep focused on Moore and his "give me moore"attitude, and hopefully there won't be three or four canindates aginst him, but one so everyone can focus and beat that "old TV" out of office and send him to the retirement home as soon as possible!

All the janitors at 89,88, and 209 will be present as well as all the transvestites and crossdressers of Proviso to see their hero annouce along side his proud master Moore!We expect all the winos and crack addicts will also be present, and best of all those intellectual giants,Dan Adams and Matlock and Libka and Alexis Wallace!
