[Libka] is no stooge for any person. I have known Bob Libka for 20 years and he is personally uncorruptible and totally dedicated to being a good educator! I doubt, before he became superindentent, if he had ever met Moore or Porter or any other of the folks, some rightly and some wrongly, who get lumped in this crowd.

How could he be hired as Superintendent without proper certification, then be given a new title? There are 4 current superivisors positions being paid at Proviso . Who is actually in Charge there? Not Libka, I guess it it is Sue Henry!

If somebody wants to file a complaint with the State Board of Education go ahead.
The regional superintendent of schools signed-off on the arrangement. I wouldn't have, but it's his job.

Hey, someone turned me on to this website and there's some good stuff here on Dist. 209. I agree will Gary Woll. Libka's a pretty straight-shooter, community-minded and cares-about-the-kids-kinda-guy. I do wonder how he got hood-winked into taking this job that he doesn't have the super's certificate for? That's what's raising my eyebrows. And that guy at the Reigional office Inggraphia(sp)bears watching anyway. I'm trying to follow what's happened here and maybe someone knows: who is really calling the shots? Libka? Murphy? ?

Just for the record, Bonnie Libka is tenured and is a counselor, not a senior administrator. I believe she runs the lab where students seek computer/other info on colleges and careers and, again, as a counselor there for a number of years, is tenured as a teacher.

Libka is incompetent! His wife is incompetent; she runs the career center at Proviso East. Who is tracking the students at East who go to college, not her. She does not help the children at East and the Board knows it. They are not doing anything about her or her DUMB husband. I thought that LInka was a Christian, but he is doing everything Chris says. The whole damn district is incompetent. District 209 needs an Oprah makeover
