District 209 school board meeting tonight
The Proviso Township High Schools (District 209) board of education meets tonight.
Agenda items that caught my eye:
David A. Bonoma & Associates will be hired as lobbyists for $8,000 per month plus incurred expenses. The firm does not have a website I can find. $8,000 per month is $96,000 per year.
Who does District 209 need to lobby? State of Illinois? Regional Superintendent of Education? Township government? The villages?
Here's my observation: between board president Chris Welch and board member Theresa Kelly they have the personal mobile phone numbers of everyone the district could want to lobby already programmed into their mobile phones.
By the way, the agreement with Bonoma says, "DAB will work in conjunction with The Roosevelt Group, an affiliated Springfield lobbying firm, in providing these services."
Here's my offer to District 209. I'll do the lobbying for half of what DAB is offering.
Danielle Ashley is being hired again. Supposedly there was a bid process. Danielle Ashley was the second lowest bidder at $10,000 per month, but the document compares apples to oranges. Foresight Advertising bid $115,000 per year.
There's also a $100,000 contract with Highland. Apparently no one else bid on these services.

What the hell does Proviso need a lobbyist for?
Proviso is FULL OF WASTE. Why not hire teachers and begin programs to help the students get out of their 90 out of 90th position. Welch has once again stooped to the scum of the Earth!
When will this all stop? When he goes to jail?

read the writing on the wall, welch is getting his ducks in a row to run for state rep. once again!
Between kyle hastings,the johnson family,jesse jackson,danelle ashley and this new attorney as well as giglio and delgado and this new attorney lobbyist,welch also with his successfull Welch group realty group , as well as his bid with minority investors(opra winfrey and others) and his close work and fundraising for Obama, this guy is ready to rumble and run for higher office!! Rumor has he is being courted to run for cook county commissioner against Peraica,but welch prefers that his associates mazzulla and / or martinez run for that postion, and he is being courted for state rep. or senator!!!!
Welch is so smart and slick that who ever he runs against will be circled,just like indians!

Yeah, I heard this Bonoma guy makes "things" disappear at the State Attorney's office. What a coincidence he is hired for Proviso. It't to late for all the crap Welch and Moore have done to disappear, but nothing is impossible in Proviso Crook County.
I hope Bonoma wears a wire when dealing with Welch and Moore. This is going to be pretty interesting.

Is Chris Welch supporters racist towards Native Americans?
Why would anyone use the phrase "circle just like Indians!"?
Chris you should better train your flunkies, like Cross and Trottie, before they write defamatory comments. This could hurt you later.
