CRIME, Thomas Postulka was in process of losing license for DUI when he killed Helen Lilly [NR]
On January 22, 2007, while driving under the influence of alcohol Thomas Postulka hit two seniors with his 1999 Pontiac. Helen Lilly died instantly; her husband Francis Lilly remains hospitalized.
Sun-Times (Chris Fusco) reports that North Riverside police had charged Postulka with a misdemeanor DUI on January 20, 2007. The legal process of removing Postulka's drivers license had already begun before he killed Helen Lilly.

Postulka pleaded "not guilty". See Chicago Tribune dated April 5, 2007.
