  • steinbach's website is a joke. she doesn't have a clue what she is doing, and has only caused turmoil since day one. she's always making excuses to do nothing to make the town better - what a windbag! always negative about everything, without a single idea to make the village better. and what a phony to brag about making charitable donations - to another taxing body! true charity means selflessness, yet she's trying to profit by taking money from the village coffers and feeding it to the overtaxing school district.

    she's a completely deceitful snake - and pretty dumb to boot if you watch council meetings on cable you can see. she's set back women in politics for decades based on her dishonest and incompetent behavior.

  • How is she taking anything from the village coffers? She is paid by the village, a paycheck she would gladly forgo if the council would go back to the payscale of four years ago. But the Mayor needs his $40K for doling out contracts to friends and campaign contributors.

    I attend virtually every council meeting. It's pretty easy to see who has the intelligence on the council. She actually graduated high school! Then she went to a real college, not some pretend one like Hosty. And now she teaches at a real college. Doesn't pick up barflys while managing a bar, doesn't sit at home after being fired by a brother-in-law and doesn't need to twist the arms of every developer and business to help a sagging alarm business.

  • I watch these meetings on television, and steinbach is bar far the least prepared. She asks the most irrelevant questions. She can't engage in civil debate without pretending to be a victim - just because she doesn't have a clue how to defend the stupid positions she takes.

    And - STEINBACH'S SUING THE F-ING VILLAGE SHE'S SUPPOSED TO REPRESENT! That is ridiculous and outrageous. She should be impeached for that alone. What is SHE thinking? This alone is why she can never be elected.

    Doolin or Calderone would be far better.

  • Isn't Steinbach supposed to represent the residents of Forest Park?

    If Steinbach believes village employees did her wrong, why shouldn't she sue the village?

  • So does that mean if elected, Nyberg is vowing to sue the Village if he believes he's been wronged?
