KLEPT, allegations of sexual extortion

In the July 20, 2006 West Suburban Journal Nicole Trottie made the allegation that Frank Pasquale or someone connected with him tried to extort sex of some sort from Trottie in exchange for advertising revenue.

Trottie further complained that Bellwood publishes its mandatory public notices in Pioneer Press, but not West Suburban Journal. Trottie argued that Pioneer Press does not have enough local news to fulfill the requirements of the law.

  • I sorta feel if Trottie is going to make an allegation in her paper she should come out and say who tried to extort the sex from her. It's not really fair for Trottie to mention Pasquale and the guy from the bank (not named in the text) and make the allegation.

    If one were reading it from a pro-Pasquale and anti-Trottie point of view, one could get the impression Trottie is threatening Pasquale with bad publicity if Bellwood doesn't start buying ads in her paper.

    It's an awkward situation. If Trottie was improperly propositioned the person who did it probably shouldn't get away with it.

    But it's not like it would be an easy case to prove in court. And Trottie could have decided the legal costs and hassles weren't worth it.

  • Haven't seen Trotties paper in weeks so I did not see this allegation in the paper. But, it sure sounds strange. She n' Frank used to be the best of friends--hugs and kisses and Bellwood dominated the paper with loads of smiles from Frank. What does Frank say? Which Frank is it? Carl. from your comments it seems as if she did not call names. Did she?

    Why not file a sexual harrasement suit if she's really serious? Woman don't put up with snide, off-handed remarks of the sexual type from guys today. Ask Anita Hill.

    Quite frankly, you can tell who she dissed from week to week and who's in her out-house. Last week it was Chris Welch (a scorn lover)This week it's Frank next week maybe you Carl.

  • All I can say is, BEWARE OF A WOMEN'S SCORN!
    Pasqualli is no angel and neither is Trottie,but this is really dumb of Trottie, and I can't see what she possibly can get from this.
    Possibly she can get back in good graces with Welch, who along with his allies are meaning to destroy Pasqualli,after his traitorous behavior during Welch's election.
    It will be fun seeing these two snakes try to out snake each other!

  • Don't be naive Carl. Any casual observer knows Trottie and Welch usta be a number. He kicked her to the curb. Thus- a lover scorn.
