Maywood CeaseFire is reaching out to clergy and residents of Maywood as well as those who work, have interest and ties to Maywood, to come together in a brief prayer vigil on Wednesday, 2/1/06 at 6;30P on the north west corner of 13th & Randolph. This is in response to the murder of a young African American male that occurred on Friday 1/27/06 at approximately 9:30P in front of 235 S. 13th. This is the first homicide for Maywood this year. Let us come together and pray that this is the last.
