Proviso Township Democratic Organization, the political organization of Democratic Committeeman Karen Yarbrough, has invited members to meet four candidates for the Proviso Township High Schools (District 209) board of education.

Karen Yarbrough called me.
She said Welch requested the meeting, so presumably he'll be there.
Yarbrough said that PTDO plans to endorse in the race. She said the decision has not been made as to who to endorse.
She said only one candidate had presented him/herself to the organization so far, Della Patterson.
Yarbrough did encourage me to attend and asked me if I have questions for Welch.

Karen Yarbrough in an email:
We will not endorse in this race but we will in the Township race.
Quite frankly we've gotten a lot of interest and I may change the venue to accomodate those who are interested.
When I write about Chris Welch, it does generate... interest, so I can understand PTDO having more people wanting to attend this session.
