Democratic National Convention
Prairie State Blue has sent a few bloggers, including me, to Denver to cover the Democratic National Convention.

I noticed that during Joe Biden's speech that he was making many parallels to issues near and dear to the Clinton administration of the '90s. Praising Barack Obama for his ability to climb the ranks so quickly, he claimed they were going to provide more tax cuts, place more police in our streets, and put U.S. troops in other parts of the globe including Pakistan.
How do you think Progressive Democrats will see this? Is party unity still "on the table"?
Also, I watched a video on a CODEPink activist who was arrested after being hit in the upper chest or neck by an officer of the law in Denver outside the DNC Convention. Is it making the local news? Will that officer be reprimanded? Who is covering the demonstrations outside the convention center? Thanks!

Hey Carl,
What were your viewpoints concerning the Democratic and Republican Conventions? What is your take on Gov. Sarah Palin?
