  • Hey, what ever happen to Kevin Beasley, Editor Pioneer Press. is it true he was fired? he was a good editor. It seems that some of these Mayor, like the one in Bellwood and Melrose Park did not like what he was putting in the newspaper about their town - especially since they - those Mayors- are ripping of the town. It is a shame that the newspaper is a SELL OUT" - letting outsiders dictate what to and not to put in the newspapaer. Have you notice that the Herald Newspaper has no substance since Kevin left. Look at all those dam advertisements in the paper. Also, alot of the story does not relate to what is going on in the com,munity. If I want to know what is going on in Chicago, I will buy the Tribune. I will not be subscribing to that bullshit newspaper again.

  • Hey Carl, what has happened at Proviso Township? I mean, the township goverment? It has been over one year, of do nothing goverment. Did'nt the mayors support the elected trustees to get services back into the community?
    I know the supervisor,Kathy Ryan has been there over 5 years and never did nothing when she had the board with her, now that she has no allies, the trustees still can't do anything, other than to have two different attorneys bill the taxpayers and hired a poltical hack from Westchester for a ghost payroll job, and hired another political hack,the ex senator Tom Walsh to lobby and gave Gene Moore and Jim Perelli the insurance contract.What is going on????
    When is Danny Coglinesae going to be replaced along with all those incompentent mental health board members, along with Changing the Mental health officials who are being paid enormous monies to do nothing and provide no service????
    Who should be held responsible for this deciet,and incompentance?? Should it be the mayors???Should it be the Trustees???Should it be Ryan??The media for not reporting tis ????

  • I want to know what is occuring in Melrose Park?Are the Feds ready to take down the Mayor and the Police chief??
    What will happen to Melrose once this happens?Who will replace the Mayor??What will the Mayor's allies outside Melrose do, such as Calderone,Welch,Sloan,Luciano's,Moore ?

  • Hey Carl what ever happened to that much publicized impeachment bill Yarbrough introduced in the Illinois house? Did it die a slow death or what??
    Why instead of making her self look ridicuous, why does'nt she instead bring money to fix up first Ave,Lake St., and other roads in her district?

  • The legislature is out of session, so there's little potential to advance bills of any sort.

    Representatives can join the bill as co-sponsors, but it can't be advanced to the next committee.
